Wagon Wheel Saloon in Patagonia, AZ

After reading the reviews how is this place still open? We stopped by for lunch. We had our dogs with us. My boyfriend waited outside for me to check to see if we can sit on the patio. I barely had the door open and the rude AF bartender shook his head and hand at me and said "no where on the property"! I was taken a bit by the rudeness and started to talk and he said it again louder! There was no one inside at 12:30 on a Friday. What is the point of having a business if you're not interested in serving customers?

Ultra-slow, dismissive service with obvious prefererence given to the locals. Food was greasy and mediocre.

I love this place! The hamburgers are great. Sometimes service may be a little slow because waitress and bartender are one and the same. The only time I've experienced a wait is when a group of guys who have been playing in the dirt in their atv's all day (so jealous ) show up all at once. It's also got that old western look. Although usually busy bartender is always pleasant

Super bummed this place doesn't even allow dogs on their giant patio. Guess we won't be having the burger that was recommended by people.

RUDE. SERVICE IS NONEXISTANT. We had never been to this place, we were passing through and saw it. We sat down and waited for service. More than twenty minutes later we were not served or even acknowledged. The bartender saw us sitting there, he was working and serving others, but he never made the time to come to our table. He never acknowledged us or anything, not even saying something like "I'll be with you in a minute." We were hungry and got tired of waiting, so we got up and started to leave. As we were walking out the bartender suddenly called out at us and said "Impatient, are we?? This isn't a fast food place!!" What a total jerk. I get that places like this can get busy, and maybe they were short-staffed, but there is absolutely no excuse for him to have been so rude to us simply because we chose to leave. I don't know if he owns the place, if he does he is driving it into the ground with his childish rudeness. If he doesn't, the owners should be aware this bartender is destroying their place of business. We will never go there again and we will tell everyone we know not to go there either.
