Super long wait, I wish she was more transparent on the phone when I called. Before going to the salon I called and asked if they were busy she said no, I said great are you guys taking walk ins... she said yes come in. I waited almost three HOURS before anyone touched my hair. The longer I waited the more invested I was so I couldn't just leave having wasted my time. There is only one person who can do the blow outs / flat iron so that's why it takes so long... but she has other people who do the washing / rollers etc.. they offered coffee and are friendly. The time waiting almost makes it not worth it... My hair came out FANTASTIC. Idk if I can go through that long of a wait again but we shall see.
They use way too much heat and not enough shampoo... I just brought in my own stuff and lo and behold they actually used enough to get a lather... the hair should be straight enough after being blowed dried, but then they hot comb the hell of of it
I recently took my daughter to this salon. I was looking for the closest Dominican salon. Moving from the city to Long Island finding a good stylist could be difficult. I opted for their wash and set service. I found the price to be quite reasonable for the quality of service I received. The wash was thorough, and the stylist did an excellent job setting my hair. It's a great value for the price, and I left the salon feeling satisfied with both the result and the cost.
Supper long wait, because I believe it's only 2 sisters running this place. But the service is good.
