W Hair and Color in Westport, CT

I moved from the city to CT recently and was in need of a new stylist. Arleigh from W did my hair for a wedding years ago (I was a bridesmaid) and so I went to her for a cut and color for the first time. My color has never looked better! She did exactly what I wanted, this is the happiest I've ever been with it. The cut is fresh and new, so needed after pandemic over growth! Highly recommend. I can't wait to go back.

Love this place!!  The best color and cuts I've ever had.  I take my teenaged daughter here too and they do an amazing job with her hair as well.

Definitely would not recommend this Salon for Keratin Treatments. The staff is constantly overbooked which leads to rushed appointment and carelessness.  My entire appointment was rushed. As a result, after my first wash, my hair dried course, wavey, and frizzy instead of silky, smooth and frizz free. Total waste of $400 and 3.5 hours of my time.

I went in last minute for a wash and blow dry. Calli was my stylist and not only was she so sweet, she did an amazing job! I am a hairdresser myself, and pretty particular about my hair. I was excited about the products they use, the staff was friendly, and my hair looked so good! I asked Calli for a few curls since I had an event right after work, and she styled it perfectly!I was very pleased, and would definitely go back to her again!

If I could give this salon negative stars I would. I'm going to start by letting you know I went to hair school and know above the avg info about hair. I went for a blow out. No cut or color. I explained I wanted my hair blown out with natural looking curls or barrel curls (I have curly hair). I even showed her pictures off my phone of exactly what I wanted. This can be achieved w a round brush, a thick (over 1 in iron) or rollers. It's simple. My hairdresser, in addition to having horrible hair, was completely inept (abbey according to their website a senior stylist). After having to explain how to do this, didn't listen or even attempt to try again. Ironically, The salon was empty (should have been my first sign). She totally overacted and refused to do what I asked. She suggested that another "master" stylist (Gina) do her work. She wasn't doing anything. This stylist ( another from hair school for rejects) didn't understand what I wanted either and didn't complete the job. Not only is that unacceptable, it's totally inexcusable that a salon that charges $70 for a blow out can't give a proper blow out. It's literally the first thing a hairdresser learns to do. Never going back. There are so many awesome salons in the area that charge half the price for double the results. Can't believe this place is in business. It won't be for long with this type of attitude and lack of service.
