Voiage Salon in Coeur d'Alene, ID

I had my hair colored by Dayna this last Saturday. She was confident, engaging, and very sweet. It really pains me to have to leave a negative review. Truly wanted to give her a chance.
I told her that I wanted to cover my gray hairs with an all over color similar to the one I already have. She asked me if I wanted highlights and I told her I wasn't opposed to subtle highlights, but no red highlights. She said I got you! Comes back after mixing the color, applies the color, said it will be 35 minutes and then she'd be back. By that time the color of the stuff she put on my hair was already turning a red dirt color (like the red dirt in Hawaii). Didn't seem right to me, but what do I know? She left, came back 35 minutes later and washed out the color she had applied. She said "I don't want you to freak out but your hair is red". She was calm so I was calm. She said don't worry I will fix this and blamed the color manufacturer for the mistake. It was an ugly copper red... I had faith. Everyone makes mistakes I wanted to giver her the chance to fix it. 2 additional treatments later and 3 1/2 hours at the salon my hair is black with red undertones. At the time when I left, the lights had gone out above her chair so it was hard for me to see the red, the black hair had me freaked but I had already been in the chair for 3 1/2 hours! I figured my hair would lighten over time so I paid her the $87 plus tip and left. I got in my car and immediately saw the red, black hair with red undertones. I was very conflicted because I had spent so much time in the salon and didn't want to go back, she had already put so much color on my fine hair that I knew there was no way it could take any more. So I left and went home. Reaction by my family confirmed what I already knew. They said I looked like Billie Eilish, which could be fine if I wasn't over 50 years old. But I also went in only wanting to cover my gray hair, not to look like a new person.
I texted Dayna and asked for my money back since I will be going to another salon to have it fixed which will cost me additional money. (Driving to my old salon which is over 2 hours away). She said she could not give me my money back but would fix it. Unfortunately I have lost faith in her fixes so I declined that offer.
The reason for this review is that I did not get my money back. If I had, then I would have felt like I had been heard. Services were not performed to my satisfaction so I believe a refund is in order

Kelsey gave me the best haircut and service ever.  Amazing cut!  She spent lots of time getting it just so right.   The location is fun and the salon is beautiful (especially the chandeliers).   Thank you, Kelsey!

I've been seeing Alli for over ten years, so when she moved to Voiage of course I followed!

The salon is always so clean, comfortable, and gorgeous. It feels upscale, but still true to Coeur d'Alene.

Alli is awesome and always gets my cut just right! I have SO MUCH hair, but she thins it like nobody else. I always leave feeling so much lighter! It's a wonderful feeling.

I live 8 hours away, but still only see Alli. So worth the drive.

This review is in reference to visits from 3-7-18 & 3-14-18. I won't post the review in it's entirety, unless requested to do so. I previously deleted the full review due to multiple negative responses on Facebook.

Tiffney Prickett was absolutely amazing. I had scheduled my appointment online and quickly had the appointment denied, however, Tiffney offered an earlier time the same day in order accommodate me. Tiffney performed a BEAUTIFUL balayage on my hair. She said she had just taken a specialized class and learned a new technique and her skill definitely showed.  She did everything I asked and I left the salon happier than ever with my hair. I would recommend this salon to anyone. It is beautiful inside and the stylists make sure the guests are comfortable. Tiffney asked multiple times if I was doing okay throughout the appointment and frequently offered me coffee/tea/water. Very professional! Thank you Tiffney.
