Vivi Nails & Spa in Cincinnati, OH

This place is HORRIBLE!!!!!! If I could give 0 or negative stars I would! My three daughters and I went to get our nails done and it was a train wreck. I got the SNS and my nails were all bumpy with huge grooves in them that were barely sanded down and super thick. My daughter got a full set and hers were globbed on and rough. I walked outside to answer a phone call and the workers proceeded to talk shit about me in front of my daughters. I called attention to the horrible work and they attempted to fix them. We didn't have intricate designs or anything major on our nails. When it came time to settle in the charges for all 4 of us the prices are insane. $80 for a simple, regular polish full set. $75 for a full set with minimal design. $60 for full set French tip. $45 for an SNS with no design. They tried arguing with me that they are the cheapest in the area. I would never recommend this place. They are rude and provide trash service!!

The worst experience ever, I waited for over an hour just for them to take someone who came after me. I didn't even get my nails done after being disrespected. Awful customer service and professionalism.

this place is literally terrible. do not waste your time or money here. i went and had a horrible experience. i showed the nail lady a picture of what i wanted and she said she could do the design. then could only do half of the design. nails didn't last long. terrible quality place.

I wish I could give them 5 stars. I love how they do my nails but I've got them done twice and twice now they have faded a ton in less than 2 weeks!

I called ahead around 10 AM to see if they could do a full sns set and a pedicure I was told yes and I let them know I'd arrive at 10:45 AM. I arrive and they seem busy but after about 15 mins they get me to start soaking my nails (I needed a removal). They kept showing everyone how long my nails were and they were all shocked. Fast forward I get moved from one lady to a man because she started a pedicure and he tells me we can do the ballerina shape I want if we trim my nails. I cut over half of my nails off (which didn't bother me since they'll grow back) but he then tells me my nail bed is too wide for the shape. I wish I had known we were keeping my original shape before I cut so much off. He then puts me in someone else's chair, this is my 3rd nail tech. Not a single thing was sanitized between making me move. She then ends up drilling on my cuticles which hurt like hell but I let it go. There was a substantial amount of sns on my fingers from soaking it off and they didn't help remove it. I had to ask for acetone to remove it and she made me do it myself. I also had to ask for disinfectant for my cut cuticles. Fast forward to 1:10 pm and I'm finally done with JUST MY NAILS. I am just going to polish my own toes. I wish they communicated better about what was going on. I'm a very patient person when I know what's going on but I wasn't happy with my experience. She didn't even apologize for cutting me and charged me $5 extra for length although my nails are substantially shorter than when I walked in. Buyer beware when coming here. Update: I went back to get my nails fixed because they don't offer refunds and Kevin was extremely nice. He introduced himself and asked about my holiday. When he realized re-dipping wasn't going to fix some of the issues I pointed out he told me someone else would be fixing them (I believe he was almost off of work). He told me she would fix my nails and be able to change the polish on my toes since they weren't able to do that last time. However this seemed to be off to a good start so I was happy. The new nail tech seemed nice. I did have to slightly argue to not have to pay for my tips on two nails that had been soaked off with acetone so it was starting to go sour quickly. She did what looked like a beautiful job applying the dip. I had to choose a new color because Kevin advised me the original orange was having issues. After she gets done filing I tell her there are spaces not covered by the sns on the sides of my nails and she informs me she isn't done. When she finished she asked if I liked them and I said it was okay but the gaps were still present. She said it was small so it was fine. I said it wasn't and I'd like it fixed so she said she would. We re dip my nails but upon doing a new top coat there are white specs added to the two thumb nails we redid. I was annoyed but not willing to get it redone so I let it go. I asked her to drill it down more because it looks thick and she does but it still looked much thicker than when I had my nails done a few days ago. Again, I'm just frustrated because I've been here another 2 hours and I'm still not fully happy. However I think since they are doing my toe polish complimentary it makes it at least balance out for the time taken out of my day and 30+ minute commute. I was wrong. They informed me they were charging me although they made me change my finger nail polish and return to get an issue with the top coat peeling off of ALL of my nails. They didn't shape my nails or trim them but I assumed it was free so it wasn't a big deal. I 100% wouldn't have even worried about the toes had they informed me up front I'd be paying for it. After I told them I didn't know I had to pay they started yelling to eachother in a different language. I had such high hopes because I saw how beautiful Anna's work was on a client before me but I unfortunately never got her to do my nails due to the shuffling between techs during my first visit. I will not be returning here based on these first two experiences.
