Vip Nails in Ridgeland, MS

Well  love this salon!! Been coming here 16 plus years super clean...and nice work!!!! Love getting my nails done here and love the deluxe pedicure!!!

THEY ASSAULTED MY SON!! IF YOU ARE A PARENT DO NOT GO HERE!!! As soon as I walked in I was racially profiled. The nail technicians were staring at my kids as soon as we walked in. My kids sat down in the waiting area with iPads to keep them busy. My boys were playing and laughing, one of the employees came and told me to tell my kids to be quiet. I called my son over and asked to try and be as quiet as possible. I decided at that moment I didn't want to stay for a full set, because that nail tech was eyeing my kids' every move and I felt uncomfortable. I just wanted to leave. After my pedicure I got up to pay and leave. Another employee asked if I still wanted the full set I said, "no thank you I will just come back for it." I felt like my kids were not welcome there and that I should just leave. When I walked out I noticed my pedicure was horrible. It needed two extra coats at least. It had missing spots. It looked really bad. I walked back in and asked if my nail tech can fix it. This time I had my kids stay next to me hoping it would be just a few min and I will exit the premises. Another nail tech, an older lady was eyeing my kids up and down. Checking if they touch anything. My daughter was sitting down and she yelled at her not to move. I asked her, why can't she move? She said it's distracting. I told my kids to stay still and behave and at this point I was fuming. My 3 old son touched the faucet on the pedicure bowl and that lady got up and grabbed my son's arm and pushed him away from the bowl. I went off. The male nail tech from earlier told me to "be a parent and tell my kids to sit at the front" I told him they were sitting in the front and you complained that they were too loud. I have them next to me to control them a bit better. He said, "next time hire a babysitter before coming in to get your nails done." And I received no apology for the older lady putting her hands on my son. I'm a lawyer and will be pressing charges along with a lawsuit. Don't go here. They are horrible people. I also never finished my pedicure. My polish was completely botched when I left the nail salon.

Well...I didn't think I would walk into a nail shop where I was antagonized and spoken to so rude and disrespectfup. JIMMY is the worst. If you are not a regular customer please do not waste ur time going to this nail salon. I went there only to get a repair because the nail shop I normally go to was super busy. Keep in mind there were two nails to b replaced. First I was told it was 10 dollars then when I finish he tells me 20...mind you one of the other nail techs ( who had no proof of licensing) already gave me the price after looking at my nails. Then, as I'm sitting there a lady and her two grand daughters come in AFTER me but because her grandmom came before i got there he allowed the two little girls to basically skip over me and do their nails. I'm sorry if you leave there is no way you should be allowed to skip those who had been waiting since 2:33 for a simple repair in which I left at 4:30. My nails look horrible shape is terrible and JIMMY tops the cake of the horrific experience I had...JIMMY antagonized me spoke very rudely to me during the process especially after I said I planned on leaving a review with remarks of calling me "sweetie" in such a disrespectful tone constantly...I will NEVER GO BACK..they fail to understand without the customers you or the business does not and will not succeed. if you are in the Ridgeland, MS area please go to another nail salon they have people working there that ARE NOT licensed to even do the work, no paperwork to show that any of them do to be honest. JIMMY again is theeeeee WORST!! Do yourself a favor and never go there.

Overall, would not recommend! All the person did was complain about my cuticles when I only wanted my toes painted, I understand we all wanna get more money & upsale but in this economy paying for a rushed through pedicure is not high on my to do list !!

I was waiting for 30 minutes when a Caucasian woman who clearly did not have an appointment was placed ahead of me. Needless to say, I left and will never come here again.
