Vina Hair & Nail in Harvey, LA

I started going to this salon for nail service almost a year ago. I stopped obviously during the COVID epidemic. I did return and the same young lady did my nails she was always very pleasant, sweet and delivered quality service, however the older lady there I assume could be the owner treated me so bad, as I entered the building for service. I came in and asked for the young lady and she said "OH SHE NO WORKING TODAY!" So aggressively. I said ok can one of you do them, mind you there was only 1 person in the shop. She said, "OH NO NO I HAVE APPOINTMENT!!" So rudely. Typing her response doesn't seem to do it justice but I was treated so poorly. I will not be returning. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Mrs Ann did a wonderful pedicure and manicure.  She took the old stuff off of my nails which were acrylic with gel polish.  She did it very gently and I was happy because I told her that so many other places have hurt me by doing this. She listened to what I wanted.  I got French Manicure gel polish for my hands and regular French polish for my pedicure.  The place was pleasant and they spoke English.  I will be going back there next time.

I been here several times for threading and nails customer service is excellent vina is amazing and prices are cheaper than anywhere else and I always see a difference in my eyebrows when I go here and I would recommend to anyone.

I've been letting my eyebrows grow out for over 6months now. I had been getting them waxed but they were getting thinner and thinner. They had now become full and wild. I decided to do threading instead and wanted a place near home. I went here and I'm very disappointed. Not only did she thread my eyebrows she cut them with scissors, and tweezed them. I was left with nothing. I wish I would have never went here. I would have done better waxing at least I would have an eyebrow. Please spare your eyebrows and don't go here if you have thick full eyebrows.

Walked in on advice of a friend for a threading. It was a Thursday at 5pm. I was taken right away. Vina took care of me and was absolutely amazing.  I have traditionally waxed my face, but have wanted to transition to threading as my skin is maturing. The threading lasted about 15 or so minutes for my whole face and neck. Vina was very meticulous. I had mild redness, which is to be expected, following the threading, but otherwise my skin was baby smooth! The experience exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be back.
