VC Nails and Spa in Franklinton, NC

I would highly recommend that you do not go here due to a number of major issues.  First of all they changed management without a mention and the owners just up and left.  When they had been managing it the services and customer service had not been an issue. It was only when they changed it and when they did the new owners evidently must have thought it would be a smart idea to purchase cheaper products to lower their overhead costs.  How silly because when they did this the overall results of the service (ex: SNS ) were not drying as they should and would remain bubbly??  Really??  Then try to keep me there for additional 2 hours to correct the bad results due to a cheaper product, all for the sake of them to save money, remember?  Now on top of all of this, I am sitting there being patient, and finally after 3.5 hours (no one else is in there getting serviced either) and two manicurists working together on my nails; I get checked out.  Guess what?  The price was increased ten dollars since they became the new owners too, and not once did the owners apologize for their unprofessional service and keeping me there so long.  I paid it of course but the worst part is that I knew their product was no good.  Within less than two days two of my nails started chipping!  No, I wasn't doing heavy handed work, or anything like it to rationalize the chipping either.  I texted and called the nail spa within 3 days to let them know about it and left a message for them to get back with me on how they would take care of this.  Did not hear back within sufficient time so I called within that week and told them I would be coming in that day.  Oddly only one customer was in there, which in the past under the previous owners the spa would have been quite busy.  Anyways I went in and they tried to pretend they did not remember who I was to which I was more than happy to refresh their memory.  (Less than 5 days ago).  I showed them my poor chipped nails and asked them what they were intending to do to take care of them after having just been there and they were already in bad condition after two days.  They sat me down and once again gave me the same crappy SNS product and had the audacity to try to charge me again.  I just looked right at them and told them quite firmly that they had alot to learn about good business ethics and good customer service in this country or in any country.  So the other customer was quite alerted now by this I am sorry to say, and at that point the owner said they would only charge me ten dollars.  I mean can you even believe it?  Do not go here.  And by the way if you know of any good nail salons that do not cheap out on their products plus jack up prices on their clients please let me know, because I am looking.

Very nice family business. Staff very nice and a clean store. They do good work and prices are great. Never a long wait and i like their points system for discounts. I highly recommend!

This nail salon is anything but professional and efficient. The wait was over a hour and the employees did not inform any customers of what their wait time would look like. The young lady that did my SNS started putting gel on my nails and continuously told me that I told her I wanted gel when I stoped her. She mumbled how wrong I was until another customer informed her that she heard me ask for SNS. The nightmare did not end! I had to argue with who I assume to be the owner when I was paying. He charged me $30 and then asked that I put $10 as a tip because she pushed back my cuticles so he considered it a manicure. After I told him that I wouldn't because his employees told me several times the price was $30 he continued to argue with me until I walked out. This location has had several owners over the years because they don't think they have to treat customers with any respect. I wouldn't encourage anyone to go here and withstand the unusually long wait times and disrespect.

So I went back and gave this place another shot and they did great.... should I say "Rebecca" was awesome. My gel polish lasted and loved my nails! Yay
