I decided to change up my salon, and I'm so glad I did! The salon is conveniently located on Western Ave, parking in the back, and it's easy to get to. The inside is nice and cozy, and emits a chill vibe. I see Kristin - she's completely gifted. Not only did she give me EXACTLY what I wanted, but she helped teach me how to style my hair so I can do the same style at home (still working on that, but so much easier than I originally thought!) The pricing is very fair, and Kristin will work with you to make sure you are completely satisfied. I left the salon with a gorgeous head of hair, beautiful color, fresh trim and new outlook on life. I've been going to Nicole C. for almost 5 years now, and she's the most consistent hair stylist I've ever visited. After moving from Albany, I even traveled from Long Island, Middletown, and now New Hampshire to see her! She's corrected what other stylists have charged me 3x to do, and listens to me every time. We've done it all: Brown to blonde, to copper, to pops of teal and purple, and back to blonde. She never disappoints!!
Kristin is an ARTIST! I have been going to her for nearly ten years, have sent countless referrals and she always exceeds expectations. I would never go anywhere else. Today Kristin took me from full platinum to a beautiful balayage, I would never trust anyone else with my locks! The salon is also warm and everyone there is so inviting and friendly.
Left with yellow and orange balayage (which was all over color rather than highlights), and feeling bad that I asked to get it fixed. Fixing it was offered but I'm not sure that I would like my hair to be touched by a kind of rude stylist. I think the other stylists may be better depending on who you go to, but I will be going somewhere else to fix my hair and would go to another salon next time.
Five years ago Kristen was recommended to me. I was paying double and my color wouldn't last but a month. I would never ever consider letting someone else cut or color my hair. Our whole family visits ever 8 to 10 weeks.
