V nails &spa in Trussville, AL

I love this place! I just came here to get my toes done, so a pedicure, massage and a normal Frenchie ‍ The ladies were so kind to me, and I loved the energy here overall. They offered me a free drink of my choice, a place to charge my phone and the WiFi password! Everyone was extremely nice, and made me feel very happy. The prices are cheap too, so I'll definitely be coming back!  my pedicure with a massage and painted nails was only 65, and for the service given too, it's worth every penny  best experience at a nail salon! They also make the best chicken fried rice

Mr. John did my spa part and his daughter Jenny did my gel nail pedicure. They were so sweet, welcoming and professional!

It's a lovely place! They have great massage chairs and offer you water and soda.

I got the organic pedicure and it included, an orange rub scrub, sugar scrub, hot wax and more!

The total price, without surprise add in's at the end, was agreed upon in advance.

The massage was the perfect pressure and Mr. John used his instinct to make sure it wasn't too gentle, yet not too strong.

Jen did my pedicure exactly how I like it to look without me having to ask.

I've been to nail shops from California, Denver, Florida and 280 in Birmingham and this is my favorite by far!

I had the worst experience I have ever had at any salon ever at V Nails and Spa in Trussville.  I only had about an hour and fifteen minutes and wasn't sure I even had time to get my nails done at all....so I told them my time frame up front and asked them if that would work for them and was told by the nail tech yes, she could do it.  And so it began.  After she had soaked off my old nails, I got a lecture about how she doesn't liked to be rushed and that the next time I come, I should not be in a hurry.  This went on and on and on.  I quietly listened and wondered why she agreed to do it in the first place if she was so "put out" about having to do it in that time frame.  So, after about 5 minutes of her constant fussing, I said, "Okay, I understand.  Next time, if I am in a hurry, I will not come here."  I sit there quietly thinking while she appears to be hurrying while doing my nails.  I don't want her to feel rushed and I'm thinking maybe there is a communication problem so as nicely and calmly as I can, I say, "No worries, don't rush.  I'm not in all that big of a hurry.  A few minutes one way or the other is no big deal."  All of a sudden the older lady comes over to me and makes a scene saying, "If you don't like it, you can leave."  I'm going "I'm not believing this.  Why have you people turned this into such a big issue?  I just wasn't sure if I had enough time to get it done so I asked?"  Then, on top of that, the nail tech that's actually doing my nails immediately starts saying the same thing.  "You can leave if you aren't happy."  There I was with my nails half done and not much choice but to finish....at the same time wondering how in the world did I upset them?  And at no point had I said anything mean or raised my voice. I never said another word.  I let them finish,  I paid and left. It was the most bazaar experience I have ever had. I decided that they are a tad crazy.  I can assure you I will never be back.  Nail salons are a dime a dozen.  No reason to ever go back in there nor will I ever recommend them.  I am convinced that any good reviews they get, they write themselves.  Horrible customer service.

I loveeeee it here! I was having a horrible day, and the Nina, Mama, and Jenny took GREAT care of me!! Nina, Jenny, and Mama were so sweet and will take care of you! I received an acrylic overlay and a jelly pedicure and it was AMAZING!!!! Don't hesitate, just come! Tell them Rachel from Yelp sent you!

Did a great job on my nails - and I'm very picky.  She was super patient as I was detailed in my description of what I wanted. She checked in with me often to make sure she was doing the right thing. My nails were absolutely beautiful! Everything I wanted!
