What I most appreciate about getting a haircut from Zach is the quality of the conversation. (My choice of hair style is pretty traditional.) As vice-president of the City Council, he is one of my best sources for what is going on in the community; and his story about saving the old-growth woods at Crown Hill is worth the price of admission.
I finally made it to Zach's new location and I love it! He used to be right on the street where total randos might walk in asking for money, cigarettes, etc. He's now on the second floor in the back of a building, so no one comes in without an appointment and it is very quiet.
Second best thing, he always has wine and new magazines. No five-year-old Redbooks. We're talking this week's People magazine with a side of chilled white wine.
I have not had Zach do my hair yet at this location, but I can tell you from being his client for over a year, he is the best and fastest with color. I color from a dark brown to very light blond and he makes it look really natural. Bonus -- I'm out in a little over an hour.
