Universal Nails in Wakefield, RI

I wish I could leave zero the lady rushed so much that I think she finsihed my nails in twenty minutes tops. I waited twenty minutes which is fine. I got a dip pedicure and ther look absolutely atrocious she didn't cut my cuticles or shape my nail. I told her they were too chunky two separate times and she barely fixed them. Don't come here waste of money

Too bad there wasn't an option for no stars. My mom booked a group of four two weeks in advance for a fun girls' day before my sister's wedding. We showed up, and they only had three seats available and were not ready to take us for half an hour. When they did seat us, they still didn't have a fourth seat, so my lovely sister, who is African American, was forced to wait. She waited. And waited. And waited. They skipped her in line three times and didn't even offer to start her until the rest of us were all done and waiting to go to lunch. No apology, no remorse, no discount. Nothing. Needless to say, we had to find another salon. It ruined the whole morning. They also cut my cuticles, and the job they did was atrocious. Overall, a terrible salon with rude workers who don't know what they are doing. Avoid at all costs.

I went here for a dip manicure and they did not deserve my money at all I shouldn't have paid. I asked the woman to shape my nails as coffin and the way she shaped them was with a nail clipper and ripping off the rest of the nail by her hands like how you would rip a hang nail off. I have two nail infections now and I got them done less than a week ago. This is what they look like. Totally unprofessional and from the way I saw them do my nails it did not seem like they knew what they were doing. I've been consistently getting my nails done for years now and this was by far the worst place I have gone. I go to school here so I am trying to find other nail places.

Do not go here! The woman was incredibly rude to me after I explained that I normally get a "full tip" with gel polish which she had clearly never heard of. She proceeded to be completely rude and rather than telling me they do not offer that service, she told me, the customer, I had no idea what I was talking about. I showed her my nail that was hanging on by a thread, in which you could clearly see it was a tip that began at my cuticle and my real nail underneath. I understand if a salon will not provide this service, but it's embarrassing to think an employee whose salary is tip based would speak to a customer this way.
