Today, while in the check out line, a man with his young daughter was checking out as well. The young girl explained to the cashier it was her birthday month and she signed up on the app and could she please get the gift. She was told by the cashier. "NO"they were out of gifts. Further saying, If she had wanted a gift she should have come the first of the month. However, she could go on line and make a $50 purchase and they would send her the birthday gift. She politely asked if she had the Dec gifts and if so could please give her one of those. She said she absolutely had the Dec gifts but No she could not give her one.The father was nice but said maybe I should carry you from now forward to Sephora. The cashier abruptly said ok! As if who cares ! Well, it wasn't my daughter nor was it any of my business! But it's certainly my business that I will NEVER walk in an Ulta door again. I've shopped Ulta often in many states but this goes to show how one worthless, don't care, rude employee can ruin a business. I have her name on the receipt. Her actions were totally unacceptable to a young girl learning her way in the "make up" world. So happy her dad said, "Let's go to Sephora from now forward"

I asked to transition to a silver gray. I specifically said no blonde. Especially no caramel blonde. My hair ended up yellow. I went back, and it ended up caramel blonde. My roots were such a beautiful silvery gray, now I have to start over with caramel blonde. My hair is so dry and damaged. If they couldn't do it, they should have said so. I scheduled with a master stylist, and they did not offer to correct this. They put me with a lesser trained stylist. I was trying to avoid dying my hair ever again, now I'm going to have to keep getting it dyed just to correct what they did

I got a curly cut from the salon and it was a decent experience. It is so nice that they use curly hair products appropriate for hair type and refreshing to have the option to have hair diffused at the end. I would say its the best curly cut you can get for the price point but not a true curly cut. They cut the hair dry but brushed out instead of curl by curl so I think a lot of the advantage of a curly cut is lost. The diffusing process is also okay but not stellar. I'd say if you are looking for a curly cut just opt for the more expensive ones at other salons but for absolutely any other service I think the stylists at ulta are great.

I needed a haircut badly before school, but my usual stylist was booked. I saw there was availability at Ulta and nervously booked an appointment with Lisa. She did an amazing job!! I am very particular with my hair and she was extremely patient and went the extra mile to ease my concerns. I will definitely be getting trims here in the future!

Booked make-up lesson 10 days in advance. Confirmed via email two days before. Two hours before I was told that there was nobody available to provide the service. Could I reschedule? Really? What is the point of booking in advance and and having a confirmation system if you can't guarantee that an employee will be there to provide the service. Don't waste your time!
