Ulta Beauty in Kalispell, MT

Oh my lord, I have to grab what I need and get out. I could be in here for hours if I let myself. This store is full of too many things I want to buy/try, it's too awesome.

10/10 fixed my problems with 0 issues, friendly, fast, reliable. Had an amazing time and the finish product looks incredible

I have only experienced friendly and helpful service here. I had my eyebrows done today and I have very sensitive skin and notice that it was the least painful wax I have ever had. They look great and I would use their brow Services again. They have a great selection of products and I will continue to use them as my main Beauty Store.

First I'd like to give a little back story.  I've dealt with very oily skin all my life.  It has been VERY difficult to find a good foundation that doesn't completely melt off of my face.  I have been pretty discouraged in this process, and thought, maybe I could TRY a small amount of a couple different foundations instead of wasting so much money buying full bottles of the stuff!!  
I went into my local Ulta, asked about the possibility of sampling a couple foundations.  The representative explained to me that it was "illegal" and there was a new "FDA REGULATION" prohibiting such samples.  Now, my anger is NOT due to the fact I couldn't get a sample, but more so the fact that the store rep blatantly LIED to me.  If it's a company policy that you don't give samples, just say so!  I spend (what I consider) a lot of money here every year and this totally turned me off.  
Thank goodness a Sephora recently opened I'm town, as I went there directly after my visit to Ulta.  I purchased a couple items, AND was given 3 samples!!  

Anyway long story, but I feel this local Ulta is unconcerned with customer service.  They always act irritated and annoyed when you ask questions or expect to be treated as a valued customer.  Platinum status or not, this is enough to turn me away for good.

Alright. So maybe I'm spoiled, maybe I'm vain, but when I go to a cosmetics store I expect the people selling me those cosmetics to know what they are talking about. Instead I have noticed one employee in particular seems to know what she's talking about but cares more about pushing the products she she has probably been instructed to push that day or that week or whatever that might be on sale. I get it, their job is to sell the products. But their job is also to make the customer happy so they'll continue to come back. I give the benefit of the doubt but now everytime I go there I attempt to avoid that person like the plague because I know she's most likely going to give me the products that don't match my skin tone or just don't work for the type of skin I have as she has in the past multiple times. Don't be fooled into thinking I'm just some here once every few months type of customer I am there weekly. I am familiar with almost all the ladies that work there and I can say with my best confidence that most of them will take care of you to the best of their ability not only trying to get your money but to make you happy and satisfied with the transaction and the products that you're taking home that day.  I have recently started going to the salon for all of my hair needs and I'm looking forward to going there to try out their new esthetician. Jesse the salon manager is phenomenal. I will always return to her as long as she stays here in Kalispell. She does hair the way I'm used to where I'm from and it's amazing. Not to mention, the woman's nails are on point. So all-in-all if you come in during the sale times you can actually save quite a bit of money but even if you don't and you become an Ulta Rewards Club member then the point rewards are actually pretty phenomenal once I became Platinum I started saving an ample amount of points and I am now at the point where I have at least $100 in points a month to spend. Also once you go platinum your points never expire which is also pretty awesome. Don't let these "terrible customer service" reviews from 2015 deter you from going here. Online shopping is okay if you don't feel like putting pants on that day or whatever, but nothing is better then Samsung the products before you take them home and having the option to exchange what you aren't satisfied with. Put on your pants, get a little human interaction. You won't be disappointed.
