So Ulta beauty is amazing! They have everything you need in every price point for any occasion! The salon and skin bar are now under new management and is thriving! I absolutely love going in there! I will not let anyone else touch my hair! Also Brooke at the skin bar she is the only one who I will allow to do anything with my skin! The brow bar are the only people allowed to touch my brows! This place may have went downhill a long time ago, but not any more! There game is on point!

Well, here's the thing. When I go to a beauty salon, it's because (a) I need a haircut, and (b) I want to be pampered.
I've had time to think about the whole experience since I got home and here's what I think:
To be clear, the stylist was fine. Seemed very knowledgeable.
But the environment....
I'm thinking that if a store charges $20+ for a lipstick, they ought to be able to put up a wall - or a curtain - between the shopping area and the salon. (They have neither.)
Which invites trouble for the stylists in the salon.
Customers are constantly coming to the stylists and asking where a product is located, or what the stylist recommends in the way of hair product.
Which makes me, also a customer, very unhappy.
I mean, Jeez, I was in the shampoo bowl (which IS partitioned off, thank goodness) and a customer prances back there and starts yapping to the stylist who is washing my hair. Whaaaat?
Then, when I'm back in the chair, getting my "cut and do" (in the area which is NOT partitioned), here comes other customers wanting to know this or that.
Not sure I will go back because of that. Can't rightly say anything other than, "It just annoys me." (That plus the haircuts are $50.00, so you expect STAR treatment - am I right?)
Get a receptionist to handle questions or get a curtain!

Oh my goodness! This place is amazing. I could spend hours in this store and not see everything. It has everything for a makeup geek. Definitely somewhere to get high quality makeup. The ladies who work here are so friendly and very helpful.
