I went there once and never again. I was happy with my haircut but felt very uncomfortable the entire time. The hair dresser didn't talk to me at all. She was in a not so happy mood and did whatever I asked for without asking me if I like it or anything. It was very surprising because usually they'll be friendly working for tips too. I never went back there.

Scheduled an appointment for highlights and a trim- I loved the highlights and cut but it was wayyyy to expensive. If I had known how much it would have cost before I got the service done... I wouldn't have. :( staff wasn't very friendly when I walked in either... Took them 5 min to even notice I walked in. However, my stylist was great but I felt rushed off at the end (probably because they were closing soon.) I don't know if ill be back..

Went twice, the first time to have all my "dead' hair cut off. The woman that was supposed to cut my hair complained about the thickness, then complained about how long it was taking her to cut the ends. When I explained (again) that I wanted it short, she turned me around in the chair and exclaimed, "Look, look at all I cut!" Ummm she cut an inch off the ends. She made awful mean comments about how dry my hair was. The second time I went, I had Hunter cut my hair since I wanted it cut really short. I asked for a bob and instead got edward scissorhands just hacking away without any rhyme or reason. I knew I was doomed when he took the scissors and started gnawing at a hug chunk of hair. At that point I asked him to just make a straight cut, which he couldn't do. I went to my original stylist (elsewhere) and had her fix his hot mess. I am never returning and I'm definitely warning people to stay away!

I am from out of town and desperately needed and eyebrow wax. I walked in and was taken without an appointment which was great. My eyebrows are now shaped well but when she put aloe on my eyebrows I felt some pain on my left eyelid. After looking into a mirror at my hotel room and I now notice that half of my left eyelid was ripped off with the wax. My fiance also noticed and asked if I was in any pain (which I am)...I get my eyebrows waxed regularly so I know that it doesn't have anything to do with my skin. I would just suggest to be wary of getting waxed there in the future.

I was in dire need of an eyebrow wax. I was starting to resemble a wild animal, but was scared to go somewhere new to get them done. Finally I saw Allure and decided that no eyebrows were better than the ones I had, so I'd give it a shot.

They were great. They were able to take my right away, and while my waxer waited for her station, she sat and talked to me. Being someone completely new at the salon, I found her friendliness and openness refreshing and decided pretty fast that I liked her, even if she did destroy my face with wax.

In the end, she did a wonderful job with my eyebrows. I no longer look like a wild animal and instead look like a lady. I usually have a tough time with the pain associated with waxing (I know, I am pierced and tattooed but can't handle some wax), but she was very gentle and finished quickly. I look forward to going back to get my eyebrows done and will also consider going here to get my hair done as well.
