Not the best place! The owner has her dog roaming all over and on all the furniture! It's not a sanitary place at all! I was disgusted even walking through the door. Not good quality work coming out of that place at all. I'm shocked they're even in business. They put the polish on soooo thick and another time was so thinly placed you can see the nail bed. They wax your eyebrows sitting up in a chair! Not to mention they are just all around rude! I will never go back there
Amber saved my nails! I was previously going to a salon that made a total mess out of my nails, Amber fixed me up and gave me my nail shape back (they look the best they have ever looked now). I'm so happy with her work, she really knows her stuff and I'm glad I decided to give Ty's Nail Candy a shot. I felt traumatized by my previous salon experiences as every other salon I've ever tried always ruined my nails so I was wary to try another, it was a choice between going back to doing my own nails or trying Ty's, and going to Ty's was the best decision I ever made for my nails! Ty's Nail Candy is one of the few licensed salons in CT, I had no idea CT nail salons did not require a license. Now it makes total sense why most salons butchered my nails. So grateful to have found Ty and Amber!

They turned out even better than I had hoped. And they've lasted 2 weeks without any chipping or issues at all! Will definitely be back!
I have been going to Ty's for several years. The nails are always gorgeous. There is never a problem with lifting. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I just had my Halloween nails done and have gotten so many compliments on them. Someone I know actually DMed on Instagram at 7:30 on Sunday morning asking who my nail tech was because the design is that pretty! I wouldn't go anywhere else.
