Tropical Salon Nails & Tan in Hammonton, NJ

Probably will never go back... the last few visits I've been disappointed time & time again. Rushed, unfortunately (but honestly) unsanitary, and not very friendly. I blamed it on Covid the last few times but this last time I left almost shocked at how rushed I felt. I normally get a pedi every so often, but this last time I got my eyebrows done and she didn't wash her hands before waxing me, waxed me the roughest I've ever been, & even hit my mouth with the palm on her hand without even saying anything like I wouldn't notice?.. very weird situation. Felt completely rushed and then I got to car and I swear my eyebrows are barely even there. And I like them thin! Lmao I highly doubt I'll ever come here again.

Very impressed with this place. I got married last week and came here with my bridal party, all together we had 15 girls getting mani and pedi. They had 7 nail technicians for our party and each one did an amazing job. I showed a picture of what I wanted and my nails came out better. The owner was very accommodating let me bring in food and drinks and we had an amazing time. At first was worried about coming here with all the bad reviews but it was half way drive for my bridal party and I took the chaand very happy I did.

Since Don sold this place a couple weeks ago. It's been downhill ever since. It's dirty and the new girls are HORRIBLE! Sloppy! I usually get the dips. My nails look horrible. I'm so sick of them having no manners when your in there everyone talking Vietnamese. It's just so disrespectful..I looking for American's.

My favorite nail salon. Quick service, clean environment and great nails. All the staff is friendly and helpful.

I've been going to tropical for years. Recently, the last few times I've been going I've had the worst service possible. I know that they can get busy and there's limited employees and that some people come in with appointments, but when I come in for a 10 minute service and I wait an hour before they even get started, something needs to be done. I was a walk-in but so was the 6 other people who came in and started before me and my sister were even seated. Going on, tropical is still my favorite nail salon in town and I most likely will still go there. It's just absurd that they don't service their customers in the order they come in, instead of jumping around and doing certain people first. A 10 minute service shouldn't have taken an hour of my day away.
