The Winchester Spa and Salon in Summerville, SC

Stay away!!!! They are so rude at the front desk!! They act like they are doing you a favor instead of providing a service. They advertise one thing and when you get there for your appointment they switched it around and charged me more than twice the price! They advertised a mani/pedi on a special promotion for $50. You could add special therapies, gel etc for more if you wanted for $20, $10 or $5 depending, which I didn't get and they agreed. All I added was gel for $10 just on my hands. That they agreed with but said mani/ pedi doesn't mean it's a mani/pedi. It means one or the other. So, I didn't hear this until I checked out looking for their special price. It was special. They charged me $60 for the gel polish manicure and then wanted another $70 for the pedicure!!! The girl in front had such an attitude when I said I can't be the only one who thinks that's the price. She disregards what I'm saying and then goes to another senior employee and says it's $133 for their "special end of season promotion". She never asked her about what I said. Completely disregarded it. What's special about that price? Seems a normal price to me for a mani/pedi at $133. Then I said I didn't have it and she went to $100. It is a complete bait and switch to get customers. Plus know that all their other ads said for instance Pedi OR blowout, facial OR body scrub. So why in the world would anyone think their ad for a mani/pedi meant you were r going to be swindled out ot $70? Keep away. Also, when telling my daughter what happened, she told me they ruined a birthday for my 8 year old granddaughter. She was looking forward to her special manicure on her birthday. My daughter had called and got all the details of their kids deal. When she got there, they wouldn't do it. They said, well we are transitioning away from doing children. They did this on her birthday!! They couldn't just paint her nails? Would the world end if this well behaved birthday girl got pink sparkly nails? Where is the compassion for a young girl on her birthday going for her appointment all excited and was turned away? They are rude and treat their customers with contempt, rudeness and disrespect! Stay AWAY! Who knows what they will do to you on your appointment! Ariel who did my nails was very fun to talk to and did a good job. The employees will be the ones to suffer when more people hear about the spa and their practices.

I have been looking for a new hair stylist since I moved to the area and I finally found her! I went to Dayna for a hair extension consultation. As someone who has worn extensions for years, I know a lot about them. She continued to educate me on the different types and took the time to go through other hair goals I am looking to achieve. I am looking forward to going back!

This place is so nice and elegant. Everyone is so nice and very professional! Highly, highly recommend!  Definitely see ask for Jenna! Customer service is even so friendly!

Received a pedicure today. Was not impressed. No cuticle work at all (trimming nor pushing back). Polish is not smooth around edges looks amateurish. Feet calluses were not done well. I won't be back.

This spa and salon is top notch and the staff are lovely. I had a wonderful appointment on Saturday morning and felt so welcome and relaxed. Dawn is quite the professional, and I absolutely love the magic she put into my sandy blonde balayage. I can't wait to go back for more services! I highly recommend The Winchester Spa and Salon!
