The Spot Hair Salon in Longmont, CO

I had a really disappointing experience here. I left a review, deleted it, but I changed my mind. I want people to know.

I scheduled an appointment online and was contacted by Jaz two hours before my appointment to cancel. She rescheduled for the next day. Jaz again canceled two hours before my appointment. At that point, I wouldn't be able to find another salon for the interview I wanted to cut my hair for.

Anyway, so Jaz offers me a free deep condition. I tell her I'd rather a discounted haircut and that I don't use conditioner. She agrees.

I will go ahead and spoil this by saying she did not give me the discount and did put conditioner in my hair after saying she was "just wetting it" when I told her I'd already washed my hair.

I had a specific inspo in mind. I'd been growing my hair out for it. I wanted a Ramona Flowers type thing but with a blunt cut because of my hair type. Jaz sloppily stuck two pieces up and when she cut them they were super unevenly distributed. One was made of like 5 hairs and one was thick like I wanted. She blamed it on my cowlick which makes no sense. I went home and cut it. I was a little disappointed but whatever.

Until I realized later that the conditioner had been hiding a pretty not blunt cut otherwise.
I am so upset. It was an expensive cut, she made me wait like a week beyond my appointment for it, didn't give me my discount, and when I contacted her to tell her that I didn't like it, she said I could rebook. As if I'm giving her another $50. And mind you, she took like 30 minutes on it! No time at all. I have no idea what I did to this lady.

Invest in a three way mirror, y'all. Customer service is down the drain.

The Spot is one of the best salons that I have been to since I moved here! I have finally found my place seven years later! Thank you, Jaz, for the beautiful haircut!

Got a color and cut with Jazlin, and I couldn't be happier! My shirt wasn't ruined and I didn't have color all over my face when I left. I didn't even go home to restyle my hair! Other than the jerks at the tattoo studio who lord over the tiny parking lot ( I'm handicapped, no place to park) it was a wonderful experience!

I'm not sure who answered the phone, I want to say Katrina but on Monday when she finally answered the phone she said she was in the middle of a customer and would call me back.  I waited 6 hours to get a call "right back"  and the same person answered the phone telling me, "Oh I haven't forgotten to call you back, I'm just the only one here today."  I thought yeah right, do you think I'm stupid???  So she promised again she would call back on Monday.  Tuesday comes around and I waited until 10:00 and called them only to get a message to leave name number and a brief message.  I left a message again and nothing.  I decided beans with this, and looked elsewhere for my services.  I ended up making an appt. in Loveland and what I'm getting is cheaper than the price at The Spot.  As far as I'm concerned they call kiss my @ss.  Their customer service needs a lot to be desired.  They lie to you and they don't call back as promised on the phone.  They just plain suck!

Update:  I went online to see if there were any other reviews about this place and I found that you could schedule an appointment online.  When I looked to see if there were any appointments available and not weeks out like I was told, I saw that there were indeed some available this next week.  So, I was ignored, lied to and put off by the girl on the phone.    Frustrating!

If you don't want to take me as a customer than just say it.  Don't play these juvenile games of saying you'll call back, or lie and tell a customer your the only one in the salon that day, yeah right!  Grow up and stop lying to customers!

I needed a hair repair quickly because I had a last minute lunch meeting with friends.  Jaz fit me in and the results were perfect and professional. She made my day.
