The Salon by MC in Bowling Green, KY

Amazing!! Matt Church worked his magic! Exactly what I wanted and just what my hair needed!

One of my BFF's turned me onto Matt Church of The Salon by MC. He has always I swear has a magical talent for hair. My hair is baby fine with a mind of it's own. You have no idea how close I've come to chopping it all off and go with wigs. But Matt is and always will be my savior!  He's busy ya know so please bear with him. He's worth it!

They say they take walk-ins but don't think you're going to be able to walk in and get your hair cut. Got there before they opened the door, signed in as soon as they opened (no one speaks to you...you just sign in on their computer screen while they ignore you) and then waited. Just wanted a simple haircut. They took 3 people back for colors, and then multiple appointments came in. Sat there for 3 hours (not an exaggeration) and never got called back. No one ever said a word to me. Not one word. They never said sorry for the wait, or it'll be a little longer. Or even if they had said "we won't be able to get to you today" would have been nice. But not one word. I guess they were hoping I'd get tired of waiting and leave. Left after 3 hours and won't be back.

Love love love my hair ever since I started coming here!! Yesterday my daughter went from dirty blonde to brunette Matt took all the time in the world with both of us. I got my hair done. She got her hair done, and both of us together cost the same my hair alone used to cost at another establishment here in Bowling Green. I will never leave here! And it was only Matt and another stylist and they had a ton of walk-ins but when you're a walk and you have to wait make an appointment if you don't wanna wait I got seen and my daughter got seen at our appointment times!!

I waited 15 minutes for someone to come up to me at the counter.  When he did he was very condescending and told me it would be a 40 minute wait (no problem) just put in my number and I will receive a text.  I put my number and email in and went shopping close to the salon.  I came back 40 minutes later and sat and waited.  I sat for an additional hour and nobody waited on me and no text.  One of the workers complained about the low tip they received and everyone there heard it!  Extremely unprofessional!  This employee then went into the back and never came back out. To top it all off,  two of the employees walked out of the back and the one was getting his hair done by the other while I was still sitting and waiting, unbelievable!!!   I was so frustrated that I decided to leave and walked out.  I never did receive a text or email (yes they were both entered correctly).  As I was sitting in the salon waiting for an hour I guess I'm relieved I didn't get a haircut there as I was observing the salon, it was very unorganized and dirty.  This place needs to clean up its establishment and their act.  Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be treated poorly in a dirty establishment.
