One of the saddest parts of moving away from Austin is losing this little shop with Leah and Brittany. I've had both of them cut my hair many times and they are both excellent. I wish I could book them when I'm going to be in town, but they are very popular as they do a great job for an incredible price, so you need to book ahead! The online scheduler makes this easy. I highly recommend them!
What's fantastic experience! I'm new to Austin and SUPER PICKY about who touches my hair. I researched salons for several days, looking for the perfect combination of skill, organic products, and affordability. This salon met and exceeded all of those qualifications! Leah was amazing, made me feel right at home, and I could tell she really cared about how my hair would turn out and that I was comfortable with everything she was doing. I left the salon looking AMAZING, and I think the rest of the world agreed because everyone was way nicer to me than usual lol. So happy to have found my forever salon in Austin! Thanks y'all!!
I am so happy with my haircuts from Brittany. They are beautiful and the products she recommended are wonderful and organic. The salon is in a cozy little building and is very calm and relaxing.
I had scheduled an appt. for a consultation with Brittany online. I drove from Buda (45 min drive) and arrived on time. The door was locked, no one was there (Brittany lives in the house right in front of the salon) after waiting 5 min, another person who apparently had an appt. with Brittany arrived and sat with me outside the building for another 10 min. When Brittany arrived there wasn't any apology made for having her clients wait outside for 15 min. and she asked me if I had an appt., I told her I had scheduled online several weeks ago for a consult. She informed me my appt. wasn't today, but she could remember seeing my name come through on her schedule, however, she couldn't tell me when my appt. was. I am certain I wrote it down on my calendar when I made the appt., obviously, there is something that went wrong on her online scheduling system. The problem I have is that had she didn't offer to work me in (knowing I had driven 45 min) or even offer to schedule me at a different time. No apology either. In my opinion, it was horrible customer service.
Leah has been cutting and coloring my curly hair for three years now. With Leah, I don't have to re-book every 6-8 weeks to maintain the shape of the cut. My hair looks good as it grows out and I'm so thankful for that. I'm not the type to spend a lot of time styling my hair, and with Leah's work I don't need to. I also like that their product line is organic! Curly hair can be more delicate, but even with color my hair is as healthy as ever.
