The Curl Boutique in Saco, ME

I requested an appointment in early April. Took days for them to respond to my inquiry. Finally, got an email with an appointment date and time that said I needed to respond within 48 hours with a credit card to hold the appointment or it will be lost. I called and text the number the same day and a few days after. Left voicemails and texted, but did not receive a call or text back for days. They finally called me back  and I provided my credit card. A pre-authorization was put on my card. Now, nearly 4 months later I attempt to contact this business (call, voicemail, text) to verify my upcoming appointment. They tell me I do not have an appointment and offer me others. I have the email and credit card statements showing that I confirmed. Customer service here is the worst. For the price listed for their services you can go to ANY other salon and have an excellent customer service experience whether it be a "curly" salon or not. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was very happy with my first appointment here and look forward to returning to take care of my curls! I really appreciated their approach to getting up-front information about your hair and determining what kind of experience you want with the stylist (chatting, education, etc.). In addition to a great cut, I got a good assessment of my curls and lessons/tips on styling. Finally, they have a great approach to recommending products without pressuring you to purchase. I'd definitely recommend this is place if you're looking for a dry curly cut and to learn a little too!

I visited this salon and really loved the experience. Brooklyn was super. It was great having someone that knows about curly hair cutting and styling mine. My hair looked and felt so beautiful when I left. Thank you!!!

I put off going here for a while and wish I hadn't. It exceeded my expectations. Daija was my stylist and she literally went through every single curl during my haircut. Which was a dry cut by the way, my first ever. Which was amazing because i didnt have that oh crap whats going to happen when my dries and shrinks moment. I also got my hair dyed while I was there. I did not get exactly what I had hoped for but it came out better then I had expected. What I had wanted would of really damaged my hair and killed my curls more so then they already were. The focus on making my hair as close as possible without further damage was definitely appreciated. I also learned a few tricks I hadn't known before to keep my curls looking nice longer.

A tailored experience. Walk in and the atmosphere itself tells you immediately that you are in for a treat. My stylist, Beth, greeted me with a warm smile and brought me to my booth. She taught me so many different techniques! For the first time ever, I felt confident to care for my curls and buy product.
