The DevaCurl cut is dry, which was news to me. She explained everything and gave me a wonderful cut. The only down side was the salon didn't carry all the DevaCurl products, so when it came to washing post-cut and styling, my hair was left frizzy and unattractive. Once I got home and could style in my way with the appropriate products, I loved the cut.
