I would give this place no stars if I could! I went in to get a full set, and she had to remove the other nails I had on before. I was in pain the whole time AND she made me BLEED. Then she expected me to pay her 10$!! I was like no gave her 5$ and left. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!
17 March 2020 This is an ABSOLUTELY fantastic Nail & Hair Salon & Spa. Actually, it is much more than your typical "Nail & Hair Salon". All the employees get along really well and work TOGETHER as a family, which is REALLY important to the business & the clientele community. As a client, I know it is most imperative to me to be amongst folks that get along. I have had The Works done in one day, but today, I only had my nails & pedicure done. I hate to brag, but what the Hell...Walter did an out-freaking-standing job. I did not have an appointment, but lucky me, Walter had a cancellation & was able to fit me in. There are only three words to describe Walter & Ten Nails & Hair Salon: FAN-TAS-TIC !!! LOL !! Another of my personal opinions, for this Nail & Hair Salon, is, that to be on the very edge of Terrell Hills AND Alamo Heights, their prices are extremely fair & reasonable. I consider myself VERY lucky indeed, to have found my way back here....again !! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !!NAIL & HAIR SALON PLUS A SPA ...EAT IT, ALAMO HEIGHTS !!
I have been going to Ten Nails for about 8 years. I never have my hair done, so I cannot speak about the hair stylist. Ten or her husband have done my nails, and they are nice, friendly people and do a good job. I have never gone anywhere else in San Antonio to do my nails, I don't see the need to because I have never left disappointed. I do not give 5 stars, because nothing is absolutely perfect. It is best to make an appointment, especially if you go after work.
I have been going to Ten Nails for 20 years and cannot say enough great things. I love this place. Even when I lived 5 hours away I would make sure to stop by to get a full set done. And now I am bringing my daughter to Ten's.
I've been going here for many years and want to give a big shout out to Cora who does nails and hair. Her kindness and patience, especially with the older customers, is to be recognized...and she's great at what she does!
