I love Tangles. I've been going to this salon for 7 years now. I first started going to get my hair silk pressed and over the years I slowly transitioned To being completely natural and locing my hair. My hair is so thick and healthy now. My hairdresser there, Tanya, takes her time and really helps to promote the health and wellness of my hair. I'd never let anyone else touch my head.
Im natural, I asked for a haircut and a trim. For starters, the women Tanya who was very nice did not know what she was doing with my 3C hair. She brushed it DRY with old product from the following days I had done by wash and go. She gave me the worst haircut I've ever had. Who cuts long natural hair dry let alone BRUSHES it??! I have a bunch of uneven layers, and I can't even wear my hair out because she cut so much, unevenly it looks a mess. She didn't know what she was doing, doesn't know how to handle natural hair, but she was nice.
Inviting atmosphere, clean & all the stylist are professional. The owner Tonya is my hair technician and I have affectionately nicknamed her Picasso! As you can see from the photos I have posted she makes art with my hair every time she touches it. She specializes in natural hair but does chemical treated hair also.
