If you are a black woman and want your hair curled, do not go!!! First of all no one can barely speak English, and I went in just to get a simple curl and the girl who worked on me felt like this was her first day doing hair. They did not have the curling iron for these basic curls that I wanted, and the girl did not comb my hair all the way through they literally told me that I could not get my hair curled because it was greasy And I just walked out. Do not go here if you want a professional style only if you want something basic like 16-year-old prom curls.
The ladies were so nice and professional. My hair ended up looking good despite the fact it was much shorter than what I requested. After the first snip what can ya do? I should've been paying more attention. The location is conveniently located in a shipping strip and the prices are average compared to other Dominican salons I've been to.
It's hard to find a stylist that is truly concerned about the health of your hair. Tammy is very professional and takes her time with your hair. I have very pleased with the service. All of the stylist are very good. I loved my Keratin and highlights.
So, I went New Year's Eve and had a nice experience. Too much heat for my hair, it's thin and fine unlike the other ladies getting washed. I'll have to request a blow out instead of a roller set. I will go again to give the salon another try. Again, loved the style just too much heat for my hair.
Love them, they are great. Just moved from New York and was looking for somewhere good to do my hair and they haven't disappoint yet. Sometimes a little bit of a wait but they do hair great so I don't mind waiting.
