Tacari Salon is conveniently located in downtown Plymouth with plenty of free parking. The interior of the salon is gorgeous, and the staff is friendly. My blowout was OK but not the best I've ever gotten. The price is pretty good, though, and half the cost of what I paid for a blowout at a downtown Detroit salon, although the blowout I received at the Detroit salon was significantly better. You get what you pay for. If you sign up for Tacari's email list, you can get discounts and free travel-size products. There is also a rewards program where 100 Points = $1. As this is near my home and the price is reasonable, I would consider returning, but I'd request that a flat iron is used in addition to a blow dryer to smooth out the frizzies.

Lame. First visit - LOVED my haircut & style. Second visit - the stylist who did such a great job is gone. Okay, new stylist and she does a good job and I'm overall pretty satisfied. Third visit, now the second stylist is gone too. Sigh. The third stylist does an 'ok' job, nothing to write home about. Fourth visit, since I wasn't really impressed with the 3rd stylist I ask for someone different. MISTAKE!!! I walked in the door at 2 mins before my appointment. Receptionist took my name, checked me in, directed me to take a seat, got me a cup of water and I checked my phone for a few mins. 4th stylist comes out, introduces herself and directs me to sit in her chair. We consult for a few mins and then over to the wash area. Very quick wash (TOO HOT) then back to her chair. She cuts, burns my hair (hey stylist, my hair is smoking...) and sends me off to pay. I am out the door and back in my vehicle in less than 35 mins. When I get home and style my own hair, I realize why so quick - the haircut is CRAP!! One side is significantly different (face frame) than the other side. I return to TRY to get it balanced but not much better. Since 4th stylist essentially chopped a chunk on one side, I need to let it grow out. I was offered and accepted a refund. Will I return? NO NO and NO!!! I should have 'NOPED' out of there when I found that the 2nd stylist was gone or maybe after the third (meh) haircut but definitely won't pay $$ for a Fantastic Sam's quality cut.

Great salon! Recently got my hair cut and colored by Elizabeth and was very happy with the salon and my stylist! Highly recommend!
