T NAIL SPA in Riverside, RI

T nail spa is my favorite nail place in RI thus far! I have lived here for about 2 years now and I always find myself loving my manis and pedis the most when they're done at T's. They are clean and professional. The wax dipping they offer as part of their basic mani or pedi is a really nice touch. I would definitely recommend calling ahead or making an appointment as they are often busy and can not often accommodate walkins although I have been able to be squeezed in before.

I love this place everyone of the workers are dedicated to making me feel great. For the price you get mani, pedí, wax on Feet and hands different kinds of pedicures, massage and the music is peaceful.

Very upsetting experience this morning. We called and asked for 3 pedicures. One of us had a great experience, the other two of us did not. My lady did not massage me well at all. My moms man hurt her multiple times and she had asked him to stop. Then, when we got to the checkout, she was only willing to tip $5 of her $45 pedicure because the service was painful and not comfortable for her at all. The man at the register pulled out a calculator and showed her that a 15% tip of $7 was better. She was so taken back by this lack of professional and just said whatever. Honestly, there should have been no tip. Very disturbed and upset by this experience. Will not be returning.

I have been coming here for 6 months or so.. and initially was thrilled with their service and quality however that quickly changed as I noticed several things that turned me off with my last time there being the very last and I will never return.

First off, I find it hard to chose what color I want for my gel manicure and I quickly picked up on the fact that when you walk in here.. even if your early typically whoever is doing your service will literally stand and wait and hover. I've even witnessed them doing it to other clients while I've been getting my nails done myself. Totally not necessary. And ultimately they really don't have too many color choices.. Atleast not compared to many other salons I've been to which makes that choice that much harder.

I understand that they are a small shop but if you get either of two that basically run the shop, you will get constant interruptions from phone calls to people being cashed out. Not fantastic but it is what it is to a degree. Unless you go somewhere that has a dedicated receptionist to answer the phone ect.

All of the other negative reviews that speak to the manager being rude are dead on. And that's why I will never return. Because of my first reason of not wanting to deal with someone up my ass or picking their colors, I chose to bring my own gel polish. This isn't the first time I've done this here. However the male manager never once made an issue about it up until I left she came back because the polish hasn't cured properly and there were smudges on several nails. He instantly blamed me that I must not have had my hand in the machine and that it was the color I brought and next time I was to use their colors. Now I realize the brand I had brought does sometimes have issues.. he's right. However I would have preferred he respectfully refuse using that polish from the beginning then being rude and putting the blame on my at the end. I'll bring my service someplace that deserves it.. oh and when people call asking for an appointment.. just saying sorry no time and hanging up is their MO. Even when I've been flexible and just want to know WHEN they would have time.. they rush you off the phone. Word of advice: go elsewhere.

I have been coming here for almost two years and service is usually good.
Today I went with my mother who uses a cane and they refused to make accommodations and would have forced us to pay full price until I said something.
I love that they include paraffin but they were not going to provide it because she used a cane. Rather than having her sit at the station they tried to skip the service.
When I mentioned my dismay they became rude and I had three employees talking/yelling at me all at once.
I didn't wish to provide a tip but was told that I had to tip, which is definitely not true, but I just wanted to leave at that point so I gave a few dollars.
I will not be returning and I feel that it would have been better business to remove a few dollars for the skipped paraffin rather than trying to skip it and have me pay full price; my mother does not come here and she did not the service was included.
Also the owner was not there and I've seen comments that say when he is not there the staff is rude; this I guess is true.
