T'bros nails & Spa in Pawleys Island, SC

The owner and his wife were lovely and hospitable, but my daughter and I both received a sub-standard dip manicure that lasted less than a week.

I truly am not one to complain, but the pedicure received today wasn't worth two cents. The lady who did my feet; cut my two little toes entirely too short. So short, they started to bleed. I expressed to her how she was hurting me, and she states "put in water, no hurt when put in water". She continued to dig at my toes after repeatedly being told to stop. She finally stopped when she seen I was bleeding. I informed her husband when I sat to get my hands done, and he just brushed it off. "She had to since nails so short" he stated. Which was absurd considering my toes were like pterodactyl claws prior to her going cut crazy.

The service finally finishes and he expects me to pay full price on my toes, I asked for half off, considering one of two feet were completely jacked up. He comes around the desk to PULL on my toe and say "it doesn't hurt". I guess me screaming "OUCH" wasn't an indication of pain. She put Neosporin on it and acted as if it shouldn't hurt after that.

They were graciously enough to not charge me for gel. (What a joke.) Very offensive and cannot take constructive criticism. I suggest finding another line of work if you can't provide adequate costumer service nor provide relaxing services in general. Do not go here. There's a reason there was only one other person. Not to mention, the place is very messy and stinky.

It was a wonderful experience. they didn't nails perfectly and it was lovely music!
They didn't mind when we needed a quick change and loved our photos when we taken them! Such a nice team! I would go when you're there for a vacation spot.

I will absolutely, positively will never go back tp this salon.
I requested a gel manicure and a pedicure. Because I prefer CND shellac, I brought my own polish. Before the technician started she told me that she was very experienced with this brand.
Despite the fact that I stated that my fingernails did not need cutting, she proceeded to "even them up". The polish on four of my nails bubbled up after being exposed to the light and had to be removed and redone. According to another technician, "T" , this happened because it was exposed to the light for too long. This polish requires that it be wiped thoroughly with alcohol at the end to remove the tacky feel and seal the nail. This tech proceeded to touch the nail surface to see if it was dry, thus leaving a fingerprint on two of my nails.... so much for being experienced.  This 1 1/2 hour process has left my nails uneven and extremely short, to the point that the tips of my fingers are painful. Three cuticles are scabbed and tender from trimming and the polish is applied with a large gap around the edge of each nail.

The best thing I did that day was to leave the salon without having the pedicure.

service was nice i absolutely love the people but i hate the way my nails came out. the place was nice and clean but my nails came out lumpy and i had nail polish on my fingers. i got acrylics and they put the wrong size nail extension on and they cut my fingers while filing.
