WORST place ever to get a haircut, stylist was very rude,also disrespectfLul, it cost nothing to get a warm, welcome,or a friendly smile!! JS Will not be returning!

worst place ever to get a cut. they totally screwed my hair up down the skin. I asked for a fade and they shaved it all the way down. Ended up going to bladez barber shop and they got me right! Ill be going to blades from now on.

This was my third time coming to this salon, the last two times I was pleased with what was done. On April 2nd 2023, I went in at my scheduled appointment time of 12:30. I showed the stylist what I wanted, I showed her a picture of her previous work and I said I would like exactly what you did before. (Which was a grey cover up, few highlights) she said ok. Mind you I was in her chair from 12:30-3pm. When she turned me around, my hair was blonde. I was like ... telling myself... don't over react, maybe it's the way she has it styled. So after paying $186.95 and a $15 dollar tip, I went home and inspected the color and to my surprise the underside wasn't right, the high lights did not go to the roots, and my hair looked hideous.. these were only supposed to be highlights, so I called the salon Monday morning because the salon had already closed for the day. On Monday when I called the salon and I spoke to someone in the salon, they said that there was no management available to help me on Monday. They said to call back Tuesday and asked to speak with Brittney because she was the management that would be available for Tuesday. I decided instead of calling to just go by because I was already out and about for the day when I went by I went inside. I asked to speak with Management but Tracy the one who cut my hair and messed my hair up. She said I did what you asked I took out the picture of the one I showed her the one I asked her could she do because it was her previous work and she said she did what I asked her to do and I said no you didn't she got up she said I'm gonna go get a Management. She was unwilling to correct her mistakes... Management came out. I explained to Brittney (management at 23rd street location)that I showed Tracy and how I asked her to do this picture the one on the left, and she produced what she wanted to on the right and Brittney looked at my hair and said "oh I like it"..I said that's fine but that's not what I asked for and that's not what I paid for. Brittney said you seemed happy when you left on Sunday I asked Brittney, "did you asked me if I was happy on Sunday", she said no, and I said then how can you tell I was happy? I asked Brittney ( management for 23rd street location) If they have a Facebook page or a website that I could leave a review She told me no three times. No, they did not have a Facebook page nor website that I could leave a review. I found that very strange and odd because most businesses do while standing inside the salon, I looked it up for myself and to my surprise, Brittany (Management) lied to me. There were many places to leave a review. Because they did not wish to correct there mistakes, and because I do not trust them to fix it at this point. All I want a this point is a full refund. I also paid to have it fixed.

I went here looking for a simple layered V cut with a touch up to my curtain bangs. I left with essentially nothing. The stylist who did my hair never said her name but i think it was Shelly? She has short red wavy hair. I am 90% sure she was not sober while doing my hair. She was acting completely out of it like it was her first day there, and In the middle of her trimming, she started talking about how much she loved peach vodka with orange soda water?? I'm not sure why she said this. I am not of drinking age, nor was alcohol ever brought up by anyone but her, so i just had to sit and nod like she was making any sense at all. She also made me take off my mask and when i said i prefer to keep it on she said it would get in the way, which i understand, so I took it off, but then she claimed i was going to get a "carbon dioxide sickness" and talked about how bad masks are for you. ‼NOT COVID SAFE‼. She also made it a point to bring up that shes a self proclaimed "political rebel". I didn't ask about politics or anything, i was quiet almost the entire time because i did not want to engage in conversation with her while she was doing a horrible job on my hair. She also gave me nothing I asked for. She took point scissors and started hacking at it from the back, she did absolutely no cutting, it was all hacking at random pieces of hair. She ended up doing little to nothing to it and it looked the same as when it started. There is no V shape in my hair at all. And as for the curtain bangs, i told her all they needed was a quick touch up trim and she starts twisting my hair and is about to cut NORMAL BANGS. I had to tell her to stop and that i just wanted them how they already were, just trimmed. She proceeded to cut them without sectioning it so it was just blind cutting at that point. I asked for a layered V cut and a touch up and left with a small trim that i could have done myself. All i wanted was a haircut and i barely even got that. I ended up telling her it was fine the way it was so she would stop because I did not want her to ruin it. I cannot speak on any other stylist in this shop, i am sure they are great, but I want people to know who to avoid. I didn't boast and make a big deal or refuse to pay, i just want to warn people to avoid this stylist at all costs. Personally, I would fire this woman immediately as it puts a pretty big dent in impressions, I will not be coming back here :(

I always go to Jo, she's the best, I can relax and allow her to use her judgement knowing I'll be pleased with her choice.
