Supercuts in New Bern, NC

Got my beard trimmed. Stylist did a superb job! She was thorough, took her time, didn't rush and just szzzzzzzzip across my sensitive face with a razor. She even trimmed my eyebrows. I don't look like I'm ready for the holiday season any longer!

Worst haircut I, or anyone else, has ever gotten. The manager(!)/stylist cannot have been looking at her work. I wanted a simple buzz, but she left so many tufts and ridges it took my wife and I an hour to get my hair reasonably presentable. Never go there; I won't and I used to be a regular.

I arrive at 6:50. Late but sign is open and 3 people there. Empty. Literally all I wanted was my ends trimmed, no was nothing special. I was declined. I pleaded...stupid thing to do to someone doing your hair! I left and it took me a while to figure out how to leave a review.... it's still not .7, I said I'd never return nor would my friends. bad decision but I've had good experiences at other duper cuts. Let's face it, we all need to increase our jobs these days! They likely would have gotten a tip. They are still inside watching me write the review. Store says open!l oprn light is on!

Stopped in Supercuts for a trim, I have straight long hair and usually get a trim every few weeks to get the dead ends cut off. When I get my hair cut I don't get it washed nor do I have it blow dried. I am such a quick cut, the  chair doesn't get warm. Now that you have the picture..... I walk into Supercuts, after picking up groceries at Harris Teeter next door, I look around there is no one in the place put the hair dresser/stylist, whatever you call them these days..... anyway, tell her I wanted a trim to get the dead ends off, she looks at me and says they are running behind, then looks at her book and says the next appointment would be in 2.5 hours. I thought she was joking and laughed out loud, when she didn't, said there's no one in here and my cut will take all of 5 minutes. She said no we are backed up and I wold have to come back.  Not sure what Supercuts are trying to become but they are not a high end salon, they are a walk in off the street place where people go for quick cuts. Save yourself time, there's a Great Clips right across the street that will take you quickly.

I do my best to be fair in my reviews and balance goods with bads.  Today I must write that I was extremely disappointed in the haircuts my sons received last night.  My boys age 7 and 2 both desperately needed a haircut.  My 7 y/o in full disclosure has some crazy cowlicks going on in the back of his head and is a pain to cut.  I know since 99% of his cuts in life had been by me and they were just usually clipper cuts to get it short.  I've thought he deserved a real haircut with scissors and have been having him grow it out for the last couple months.  It was finally at a length I thought would be perfect for a stylist (not barber) to work some magic on.  What a fail.  Choppy all over.  The only positive thing is that she did not take any of the top except to get it out of his eyes.  

As for my 2 y/o, my only request is that it be off the ears, forehead, and neck.  The cuts were so jagged and choppy that I wanted to just yell "STOP".  I didn't and hoped when I asked her to clean some things up that she would at least fix those things but she ended making it worse.  His bangs are varying in length and the rest is just as bad.  

At nearly $15/kid a haircut this is definitely not worth it.  And honestly, I'd pay that much if the cuts were great but these cuts should have been free or $1.  I can only say that both ladies were super nice and I wish them nothing but the best but we will NOT go back and I do not recommend anyone else go either.
