I merely went in to get a trim on my gorgeous long hair and the hair stylist with the long neon nails butchered my hair so bad. The stylist who fixed my hair did it for free because she felt so bad for me. How could you screw up a trim?? That's like a basketball player missing a free throw. You have ONE JOB! So now, because of the hack job she did on my hair, my hair is THREE inches shorter in order for it to be even.

UPDATE - I took the time to call and speak with the shift manager today about more specific details about this awkward, uncomfortable experience. She was gracious and understanding. It also appears that the stylist in question is no longer employed at this location.

Overall, this ended up being one of the worst haircuts I've ever gotten and just an all-around depressing kind of experience. I am trying to let my short hair cut grow out and went in just to get shaped up around my ears and back of my neck. I walked out with a haircut that looks like a home haircut that my mom gave me as a kid. My bangs ended up being super short (like 12 year old boy short), and the sides ended up with layers, which look really bad when compared to the back that essentially has no layers at all. It's been over a week now, and sadly it still looks just as bad as it did then. I can only hope it grows out quickly. Add to this a very "Debbie Downer, Negative Nancy" personality of the stylist, and it was one of those decisions that I truly wish that I could go back and make differently.
