I felt the need to write a review, normally i would not I have been going to this Supercuts South Park, Hamburg for haircuts only - for some time now. Coloring I do myself. My previous hairdresser stopped working when Covid hit. I decided to schedule hair coloring, low lights and styling. Erika who normally cuts my hair, did a great job. What was very disappointing and shocking was when my hair needed to be washed - this location has two sinks and both did not work normally. Both Erika and the other stylist were forced to 'unscrew' some plumbing part, drain the water into buckets and empty somewhere. I was appalled that stylist were forced to do this plumbing job when they are professional stylists. Shame on the owner for allowing this to happen. This is a plumbing job; and it should be rectified immediately. I am giving 1 star for the salon - 5 stars for the stylist (Erika) - thank you, I love my color; you did an amazing job.
All signage and advertising indicated this store Closes at 5pm on Milestrip Road (near Home Depot) It's 4:25pm and they are closed???? Therefore, the store does not close at 5pm. It closes when they have (they think) enough people in chairs to close at 5pm. I WASTED MY TIME AND A GAS ETC to come here. That will NEVER happen again. This establishment is unreliable and their hours of business are disingenuous.
I was always told to beware of Supercuts or other chain haircut places. Where I'm from, that advice seems to hold true. Once I started working in Hamburg about 3 years ago, I found myself with limited options for getting haircuts, and decided to give this place a try. The girls here do a great job. I've had my hair cut by all of the normal stylists at least a few times by now, and I'm definitely happy with their work. Definitely come to this Supercuts location without fear!
The staff at Supercuts was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. Every question I had about hair maintenance and upkeep was well answered, and very informative. They were also not at all pushy about selling the most expensive product...but advocates of the products that were right for me. I very much enjoyed my experience and will certainly be back again.
