I made an appointment for a color correction/haircut and Erika saved my hair ! We were in the salon for 5+ hours but it was so worth it. She was able to correct my roots and take me up to a blonde level that wouldn't break my hair. She was very accommodating, and listened to my hair issues which is a huge + ! I'm super impressed by the work Erika put into my hair session. I will definitely be back again(: I'll see yall in July ! If you guys need someone for hair, this is your place.

The owner Kacie did my hair and I knew going in the service would be expensive. I ended up paying $575 for babylights, $50 for a conditioning treatment, and tip equaling out to $718. I was given a consent/contract to sign prior to starting which is a first for me. Maybe people don't want to pay up at the end?? I think it's ok to be expensive if you can stand behind your work and provide quality. I left the salon happy with my hair color & it matched the photos I showed her. Fast forward 3 weeks I still do like the color. However, my hair looks like dead grass. When I come out of the shower it's just sooo dry and tangled, even after I've done a deep conditioning treatment, sprayed in leave in conditioner, added some hair oil, it still looks like tumbleweed when straight. I need to always have it curled or wavy to have it look like it's in decent condition. I've had my hair balayaged and highlighted many times in my life. I've never had results like this before. In the past, I've gone from black to light brown in a day & my hair is still soft and manageable. Kacie was a very lovely person while doing my hair. She owns a cute salon that's decorated nicely. What bugs me is when I told her that my hair looks like dead grass, she took no accountability. Told me to go try K18. That my hair was "damaged and sensitive to begin with according to my contract." Actually I hadn't dyed my hair professionally for 3 years prior to this. It's naturally pitch black and I just dye it dark brown myself so it's not so dark. She claimed that "each time you dye your hair it's different. Best of luck!" Basically, washing her hands of me and it's not her problem. Very surprising reaction coming from the store owner. You would think they would want to evolve, grow, and make sure you leave their salon happy. That's the typical response from majority owners of any business that wants to thrive and do well. I think the best kinds of people in the beauty industry are ones who are willing to correct/help you rather than deny/blame. I never asked for a refund. That's not what I wanted. I wanted her to give me suggestions on what could have gone wrong or offer to help improve the condition of my hair. That's how you get loyal clients that come back to you again and again. When you deny, there's just no where to go from there. Why would you continually pay someone $700 who is not willing to work with you?? So I've purchased K18 which was a hefty $75 for a small 50 ml bottle. I've been doing Olaplex treatments each time I shampoo my hair. Purchased leave in conditioners and a bunch of other stuff. It's slowly getting better. But this is a first for me. To have to do soo much after care to revive my hair after getting it done professionally.

Hi Erika! Just a quick update. I washed my hair today believe it or not after the transformation and I'm loving the looks from top to bottom OMG! I truly believe in your amazing talents Thank you so much for being such a great artist Highly recommended

Came here for the first time and scheduled an appointment for babylights with Misa. She was so incredibly nice and kind throughout the entire process, even when the appointment took much longer than expected! She was also super knowledgeable, and consistently walked me through each step of the process. As someone who's had some bad experiences with getting their hair dyed/bleached, I'm always worried walking into a salon for the first time, but Misa was so kind in informing me of how the color would lift with my previous permanent color, and how we could get as close to the inspo pics as we could, while still making sure that my specific adjustments were being met. My worries completely disappeared as soon as she started; I could tell she really knew her stuff, and that she loves what she does! Her recommendations made it so that my hair came out in the best way possible, so I will definitely be coming back to get my hair done with her again!

I went to go darker as I am a recovering blonde and I was super happy with the results! My hair looks so much more healthy and feels more clean too! I booked with Misa She was so kind and we had nonstop conversation starting bright and early at 7:30am, she made sure we were going for something I wanted but also made sure to let me know if something might not work considering the state of my hair when I went in and my hair history. Ultimately, we were able to achieve our goal with the consultation of Kacie during the toning process. The only caution for your appointment is time. I went right before the holidays and they are a popular and highly talented salon so it was expected it was busy. But it almost felt like it was overbooked with clients moving from chair to chair and waiting time constantly changing. Misa did give me a complimentary olaplex hair mask while I waited more than expected. I would recommend clearing your schedule when you have an appointment just because you never really know when you'll be done because they don't want you to leave not happy with your results! I will most likely be a returning client even though I live in San Francisco!
