SUMMER Nails & Spa in Greenville, NC

My rating is a zero because they do not even deserve the 1 rating but I guess I have to put something. First off the man that did my nails were rough and they are extremely sore. Secondly, the color has faded on my nails, thirdly in the middle of doing my nails he had another person to start the color that he started and they did idifferently. He began speaking in Vietnamese and I knew that I had to hold my composure because I did not want the police called. He began talking about me to  black woman whose nails he began doing and I heard him say " I am not doing all that!" The black woman with the messed up curly weave on the top of her head that was burgundy in color which gave her the appearance of a rooster  as well as the other one that started doing my nails were laughing as they began to speak Vietnamese to eachother. I won't ever go to another nail shop. My card was overcharged 160.00 for services not performed as well as waiting for a hour when I had a 345 pm appointment. I will not continue to give these people that come over here business and they sit back and degrade black people. It's my fault for even going in there.  I will take care of my own nails going forward and save myself the money. I have spoken to many other shops that agreed that this was unprofessional behavior. I been to this shop twice before this and after telling him I wanted to change my nail color he still did what he wanted and placed the same color on it. I started to leave after getting my pedicure as I am a practitioner of African Spirituality, I should had followed my intuition. The owner has brought bad karma on this business and it will eventually shut down as I have asked that the energy they gave me be returned and asked that if it's in the will of the Universe and Source that this business lose its customers due to the respect. It really bothered me that he began drilling hard and fast on my nails as this has never happened before. Sometimes people mock and make fun of people and have no idea of the cosmic rank of someone that has Divine Protection and their role for being on Earth. I encourage people to stop wasting money, especially melanated people and stop tainting our system with that poison. After looking at what those chemicals do to our system, especially melanated people I will be encouraging people and start videos on doing designs themselves, going back to school for nails, take classes in professionalism, manners, customer service, respect as well as opening up their own shops and staying away from these shops. I will get press on nails and emcourage more melanated beings to get their nail tech license. It's the melanated people who support these nail shops the most and the melanated people that make them rich and they come over to open these shops, make money and degrade the melanated people that give them business. I have never felt so disrespected in all my laugh and I thank the Universe for change because I wanted to call 20 of my family members to record and post what was going on. I will be speaking on this and have already spoken to people about my experience. I feel degraded and discriminated against. In Raleigh and everywhere else, my interactions were positive. Just wanted to give my rating experience from yesterday. My nails are extremely sore and feel very thin. I will have to go  elsewhere until my nails get  strong enough to remove these nails. He cut my nails too short after I told him that I didn't want my real nails cut short bc they were long enough to get the look that I wanted but he cut them too short and added tips to get extra money. A lesson learned. I will kick my own butt before I'm cheated out of money like that again and allow myself to be overcharged for not getting what I asked for.

I've been coming here awhile and haven't had any complaints until now. i needed a change of color on my toes and got a new young lady. Worst experience ever! She filed and grinded my nail bed down to where they were so thin they cracked and split! It's been months and my toe nails are still thin and splitting and breaking! I will never go back here again!!

I am NEVER one to leave a yelp review about any facility, but this had to of been one of the worst nail experiences ever. So I call around 10:30 ask if i can come in for a fill-in around 11. The guy says yes thats fine. I get there and 1/5 workers says hello to me and that's it. No "hi how can I help you" none of that. So I'm like "can i pick out a color" and the guy goes "yeah over there" doesn't even specify what "over there means." I sat there for 30 minutes until somebody helps me. This dude comes over, doesn't ask me what color i want and just goes straight into filing down my nails with the spin tool. He cuts my pinky. Files my nail bed down on my left ring finger so bad that it starts burning. After he's done destroying my nails via electric filing them, he gets up and disappears for 15 minutes. Im a pretty patient person but I didn't have all the time in the world so I called another nail salon and as i was walking out of Lavish, a lady in the middle of working on someone else's nails tells me she can assist me. No. I was not waiting any longer. Y'all are very disrespectful. Do better.

A very welcoming nail salon! Lavish is my new favorite spot in Greenville. The place is clean and has reasonable prices along with student discount. My nail tech did amazing on my powder set.

I won't recommend that place to a friend or a family member , in a nutshell their customer service skill is lacking . My appointment was booked and confirmed through their online booking system but when I walked in my greeting was once I walked through the door "We are not taking anyone more today , sweetie"
That's inappropriate and unprofessional way of addressing your customers.
In the future I would recommend that you say "sorry our online system is incorrect " simple and easy.
I am extremely mad about the way he addressed me , completely ignored while he was finishing what he was doing and when I mentioned their online system the reply was Yeah I will fix that.
