Style Cuts in Riverside, CA

This is the place I take my boys. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. We drive over 30 minutes now that we moved out of the area but so worth it. All the ladies are really nice too.

I am writing on behalf of my mom. She went to get a perm and the lady (Eliada) pulled her hair so much that some of the strands came out. She also burned the back of my mom's neck from the solution and her negligence. Try to avoid Eliada because she does not do a good job. My mom also was left at the sink for more than half an hour with a cloth over her eyes so she can't see until Eliada finally came back to wash her hair. Unsatisfactory work because some of the strands of my mom's hair are still straight. Also she will ask for $60 on the phone and when you get there she will say $65 what a scam!!!

I have gotten a few haircuts here and they usually do a good job. I got highlights done at a different place and needed a touch up so I went in to Style Cuts last week for a touch up. Made an appointment but wasn't assigned a specific hairdresser I get there and Norma rushed her client to get me in her chair. She cut in front of her coworker and the two argued in the back for a while in the meantime I was waiting in the salon chair. I thought it was very unprofessional. They went back and forth about who would do my hair. Fast forward, highlights came out okay, a few thick highlights that need better toning but I'll fix them somewhere else. I also asked for a small trim and Norma cut my hair shorter than I asked. She made my front pieces uneven and asked her to fix them and so she had to cut shorter than I wanted. Not a big deal at the time and after she did a blow dry with curls. Next day I straighten my hair and find that the hair cut was AWFUL! Hair was not cut even and the layers were terribly done! I was very upset and called to get it fixed by Clara. She was kind and did amazing at fixing it but I was upset that I needed to cut my hair shorter in order to fix the mess. Will probably NOT come back here again. Picture below was before getting my hair fixed by Clara.

After having been away from having my hair cut & styled due to the pandemic, I finally decided to try this unassuming salon down the street. Eli was my stylist, and WOW did she deliver! She did EXACTLY what I asked for and more, and my hair has never been this healthy looking, I have grown out my natural grays and never has my hair looked this beautiful! She did my husband's hair too, just as skillfully done. This is our new salon! Ask for Eli, you won't be disappointed

Nice little place, sometimes it gets very busy so appointments is the way to go. Eli is the best there!
