Unethical. My mom is homebound and critically ill. When I requested the appointment I told them specifically to call my cell number. Apparently, they had my mom's number from prior records and left several messages on her machine (the ringer on the phone is off to allow my mom to rest). When they finally called me on my cell phone they indicated that I had missed the appointment and would charge me $350. I asked to speak with management, no one called me back. I explained the situation and they still indicated they would charge the card on record. They actually sent my mom a card in the mail indicating that they would charge me. Wow. Disgusting and unethical. Shame on you studio on taylor.
I was lucky enough to get a walk up appointment, and they were so nice and fast. It was a great haircut and very normal priced for the area and type of salon. I will definitely be going back.
I got a horrid (mens) haircut. Worst I can remember. I tried to give guidance but the person didn't get it. also expensive.
I was interested in finding a new salon for manicures and pedicures after I had several instances of poor customer service and professionalism after patronizing the same salon for over 6 months of appointments. Raisa was very pleasant. We chatted about a variety of topics. The appointment seemed to take a while, nearly two hours mid-week which was longer than I was expecting. The service was very good, clean and careful. It was $140 (for a gel mani and regular pedi including tip) which is pricey to me. I liked her and the salon and would go back for special occasions.
IA friend of mine goes here because she loves the stylist. I decided to give them a try while in town. But i noticed a sign in the window that said cancellations must be made so many hours in advance, The receptionist (young man) confirmed this and even said a credit card on file could be requested to charge in case of cancellation. Whaat? This isn't a doctor's office! Many other hair salons in town. what a turn off!
