Ladies, we all know that your not going to get your nails taken care of completely before getting acrylics. Soo, we be clipping them, filling them, and paying an arm and a leg only to walk away sad knowing our Nails are not being taken care of. Well, I'm off that bus, okay? It's a new day and Yolanda...my goodness!

What I paid today was worth everything and more based on the care alone. Yolanda cares about her work and made sure that I left satisfied and FABULOUS!

Thank you Gabriel S. For the referral, it was everything i expected and even more. I have a great hairdresser already but natural hair appointments are hard to come by so i decided to ask around for referrals, thank God for YELP friends. I went in to meet Miss Yolanda Jackson in person just to meet her and see about her availability and alas she was available and ready to give me an appointment the next day( so yay for availability) I went in on Sat afternoon and I was the only one in her chair(yay for one client at a time) she got right to work. She washed the locs thoroughly and used the hair serum that I brought to re-twist. She then wraps the hair down to dry properly and you sit under the dryer until dry,she checks on you often and does not just leave until the dryer goes off( yay for attention to detail). Then she styles it( whichever style you want) then you are done, oil sheen for shine and edge tamer to keep everything neat and you are ready to go in two hours start to finish.
Go here if you need your natural hair done, a weave, or a flat iron , she is  professional, punctual and great at what she does, I hope she will keep having me because i plan on going back to her time and time again, Will post pics of my gorgeous do! I have been going to this salon for about 4 years now off and on. I moved back to Los Angeles twice since, and now I'm back in Vegas for good. I've been growing my locs since 10/10/2010. So a little over 5 years this past October. So for the last 4 of those years Ms. Yolanda has been maintaining them and keeping them healthy and looking super fresh! Never has she made a mistake on my hair and she is always gentle, since I'm "tender headed." Whatever style I ask her to do, she can do easily. I just show her a picture of a design for reference. My process goes like this... wash & condition, then under the dryer for a bit. Then after "greasing my scalp," the twisting and clipping begin. I use my own concoction of natural products I bring in for her to use. Then under the dryer, until locs are completely dry. Then she'll style them exactly how I asked, and off I go with nice a spray of oil sheen for shine. I  have tons of pics over the years of my length and styles she's done. My hair has grown well past my shoulders, down my back in so little time, due to the upkeep by Ms. Yolanda. I will show 1 or 2 pics from when she 1st began and a 1 or 2 recent. The shop itself is clean and easy to find. Corner of MLK & Washington next to B of A. There is a famous barber shop called *Hair Unlimited* right next door if in need of a hair cut too.
