Studio 525 Hair Design in Spokane Valley, WA

I received a haircut from April about 2 weeks ago. When it was finished I thought it was great and I loved it. When I got home and showered I found many chunks of hair that was longer than other parts. These are scattered threw out my hair. I even have a piece that is 2ins shorter than the rest of my hair right on the back of my head. I have to wear a hat whenever i go out. I can't afford another haircut right now. I'm really upset that they did this to me hair. All I asked for was to have 2 to 3ins of hair cut off. Not a botch job.

Melissa is great at doing color! I went to her 2 years ago with a color disaster and she took.the time to educate me on the changes that would take place to try and remove the color. I have gone to her since and have referred several people to her. And they all are pleased. Melissa is friendly and there is no awkward small talk, she takes the time to get to know her clients. She is now certified in eye lash extensions and I have seen her work! It is good work also! Actually there isn't anything that I know of that she can't do with hair including extensions there also.

I absolutely love Studio 525. I have been going to Tonya Tangvald for 7 years. She is AMAZING. The first time I walked in everyone was so friendly and I felt very welcomed. Tonya always has done a wonderful job with my hair and I will never go to another person ever. As for the salon, it's super cute in there. Lots of products to buy and it has nice decorations. I love it! :-)

Revised review: ~I went here a few weeks ago. I was a walk in, since I had gotten a sitter at the last minute. My roots were driving me nuts, and it was time for some highlights! I waited a little under an hour to get my hair done, which was not a problem, since I had a sitter all day. The highlights I got were *horrible*! After my hair was ready to be washed, she didn't wash all the bleach out, she blow dried and flat ironed my hair with the product/chemical still in my hair! Then after she "styled" my hair, if you can call it styled, since I had a big poufy frizzy mess, she offered to wash my hair again. I had told her before I even sat down to get my hair done that I had to pick my kids up around 5pm, and she said my hair would be done way before 5pm. My highlights are not even close to my roots, so it looks like I still need to go in and get my hair done, it looks like I haven't even gotten my hair done at all, and I have not gotten any compliments at all on my hair, and i normally get compliments on how pretty my hair is. my "highlights" don't even match the rest of my hair at all, my "highlighted" roots are waaay darker than the rest of my blonde hair. 2 weeks later and I'm dealing with with unruly, frizzy severely damaged hair that I can't even get a brush through my hair in the morning. I've been waking up with horrible knots in my hair that I can barely get out of my hair. I'm not sure why my hair is acting like this, but I assume it's cause she left the bleach in my hair and didn't fully wash it out and then she blow dried and flat ironed that chemical, which is gritty feeling, into my hair, which may have stripped my hair/cuticle of the hair follicle. I have tried several products to tame the bird nest hair I have been having since coming back here to get my hair done, but nothing has taken care of this problem, unfortunately. It took close to 3 days to get all the chemical/product feeling out of my hair, and I was about ready to go to another hair salon to get a professional shampoo, since nothing I used at home would get that weird feeling in my hair. The girl that did my hair, who's name is Alyssa, assured me that her leaving the product in my hair and not fully washing it out wouldn't do anything to my hair like damage it, after I asked her if it would damage my hair. She lied, cause my hair is very frizzy and severely damaged, and I have been waking up with horrible knots. This weekend I'm getting 3 inches taken off my hair in attempts to try and resolve the issue of knots and damaged frizzy hair. I would not recommended this salon to anyone now. I would like a refund back of my money and a free haircut, but I doubt that's going to happen. Megan is still a great hairstylist, but I still won't be coming back here on account of one of her uneducated staff: Alyssa. Thanks for screwing up my hair, and now I have to hack a good portion of my hair off just to salvage my hair on account of you screwing up and not doing your job right!
