Stephanie's Place Hair Salon in Framingham, MA

Can't believe the other review are so positive. The place was very shady and dirty. I got a balayage and at the end I had the saloon ladies's finger print in the non colored area of my hair. I had the last appointment of the day and the last rushed me into a color and hair cut appointment. The silver lining was, I was charged $230 for all this crap. Ended up getting a second hair cut and coloring from PARLR in Framingham. Please don't go here. I'm 100% confident that the reviews are fake.

This place is amazing! I just went today and I'm always going here. Maria is such a sweetheart and did an amazing job with my haircut (wash, cut and style). Reasonable price too. I was waiting at the mechanic place and had to be there for 2 hours. I kept seeing ladies going in and out of this salon and how amazing their hair looked. While waiting for the car to finish and trying to kill time (plus I needed a haircut badly) I went to the hair salon and asked if they had some time. Maria mentioned that she was booked but if she had some time she would come to get me at the mechanic waiting room. She kept having people come in to get their haircut so I kept my fingers crossed she would have some time for me. After an hour or so, she came out and told me she can take me! I was soooo excited and so glad I tried this place. Anyways, I would highly recommend her and stephanie. They're so nice and do a fantastic job. Can't wait for my next haircut here. Maria and Stephanie work really hard and I love that they're a perfectionist. Thanks Maria :)

I heavily rely on reviews so I thought I would share my experience. I was in search of a more affordable hair salon and booked an appointment with Maria based on reviews. I asked for a trim with minimal layers, maybe a few long layers but I am required to wear my hair up at work and I find a lot of layers difficult to style. I received many, many layers some 4-5 inches shorter than the length. When I expressed concern, Maria said she is great at haircuts and listens to her clients and those aren't short because they blend. It was not the haircut I asked for, so she certainly didn't listen to me. She offered to trim more hair off but after two inches were already taken off for a trim I was hesitant to let her cut off more of my hair. I've had worse hair cuts before but I did not receive the cut that I asked for and was not happy with the final results. It's also a very small studio next to an auto shop which none of the other reviews mentioned.

Having moved to the area last summer, I was given a recommendation for a different hair salon which offered competitive prices, but not great hair services. Doing a search, I found Stephanie's Place and WHAT A GEM OF A HAIR SALON!!! I walked in one day and was greeted warmly by Stephanie, the owner. We talked a bit about my hair and she suggested that Maria (stylist extraordinaire) meet with me. I did and it's been all uphill from there! I have curly/wavy hair that feels like doing whatever it wants and Maria knows just how to work with it, from base color to highlights to the cut and style. The price is (very) right and I walk out of there feeling and looking fabulous! This place is so awesome that although I am again moving out of the area, I WILL TRAVEL THE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES to get my hair done. Stephanie's Place is worth the trip from anywhere!!!

I found Stephie through a friend and have not looked back. Other than the fact that I love my hair everytime I leave, Stephanie is also pretty entertaining. Everybody feels at home here. Be warned, this place is great so make your appt early!!
