Star Nails in Henderson, NV

Vivian is AMAZING! So kind, quick, and her work is spot on. I forgot my phone which had a picture of what I wanted and even with very little description she gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. It looked identical to my inspiration pic and she didn't even see it! She constantly reminds you to ask questions and let her know if there is something you don't like because she wants you to be happy. 10/10!!!!!

I decided to take my mom & i here for a pedicure to celebrate her birthday ,  We got sat down right away , there was only one person avaliable to do a pedicure since the others were occupied. We got sat in two recliner chairs.  I didn't mind to wait& wanted to make sure my mom goes first. As the guy was doing my mom , he told us the options & didn't mind getting the deluxe. I watched him do my moms toes & he seemed to be quite aggressive & in a rush. He clipped my moms nails fast & hurt her & right away started to do the other things quickly. My mom looked at me upset . & so i told him to "please not rush the things your doing , it's my moms birthday so I want her to enjoy it ."  Then he took things slow which I'm greatful. Then a lady was avaliable to do mine  , I previously got gel nails & she saw that it was gel & it would be an extra $5 charge & I said okay thats fine . She proceed to remove the gel with a machine that shaves off the gel. & on one of my toes she went over it to much & it burned my toe which I pulled my foot back out of pain.  That was a first that had happen to me . our service was quick not really much enjoyable . Lastly I love to tip my people pretty good . But since it didn't reach my expectations.  I still tipped $10. $5 for my mom & $5 for me. Right away you can tell they were talking about us in their language. I won't be coming here again. Just letting you guys know my experience here sadly.

I am to new to the Green Valley neighborhood.I needed to find a spot for a good mani/pedi !!I found the folks at Star Nail were very accommodating and kept the salon open until I got off work. Dave did my nails and they look so amazing I picked matching nails in Ferrari Red. Their selection of colors and product is extensive. A very nice lady did my pedicure. She took Extra time and care with my nails on my big toes. She worked on making sure they don't become ingrown. A very nice salon with a casual yet classy atmosphere. I will be a return customer!

I really don't know why I keep trying this place. Working in the same plaza, it's an easy lunch break activity. I needed a gel pedicure BAD so I said "ehhh let's give it another go". The older women is always the one who is free, probably first red flag. Her pedicures are half-assed at best. Puts lotion on and then has you put your feet back in the bath... then proceeds to wash the lotion off. Worst part is polish is all around the cuticle. I'm sorry but a $45 gel pedicure should at least be neat. Ugh. I said "never again" multiple times before but now I really do need to just accept the fact that they just don't care about providing quality services here.

I'll never go back. I only went here because the organic salon across the street was full for the day.  The chemical they used to exfoliate the bottoms of my feet got rubbed onto the top of my left foot and caused CHEMICAL BURNS!  When I went to the car I poured cold water on my foot and wiped it off. Days later, it's scabbing over.   I'll never go back.
