I had such a lovely experience. My nail tech was so sweet and my nails look perfect! They were so professional and everything inside was so clean and inviting. The shape, color and design were beautiful and exactly what I wanted and the prices were so reasonable. I will be back again!
I really wanted to leave this little salon a 5 star review. But it would be misleading to others. Here is my experience: The lady who did my nails had such a sweet demeanor. I first called to see if they had availability and noticed it was really hard to communicate with the lady because of a language barrier. I went in and she greeted me pleasantly and I asked for just a manicure. She asked if I wanted dip, shellac or powder. I said "just a plain painted polish manicure" and motioning to the nail polishes to try to explain. I couldn't tell what she was saying at all unfortunately. I picked out my nail polish and sat down. I put on hand sanitizer and she put on gloves. She started filing my nails in a seesaw motion (a huge no no!). She then immediately started painting my nails (using top coat as base coat). I was so confused but realized the communication was so broken down she just polished my nails instead of a manicure! I was so bummed but knew I wouldn't even be able to explain. I still thanked her and tipped her 20%. My nail polish chipped the next day and when I removed it my nails looked damaged (perhaps from the technique). Other things I noticed: paint brushes were dropped onto the floor and just put back into the dip powder, no disinfecting. When my nails were painted there was a lot of other technicians reaching over and sharing tools. Some of the other techs didn't appear very professional in their attire and sipping take out drinks and having air pods in. I also heard another lady receiving a pedicure tell her friend she asked for a shellac pedicure and that isn't what she received. I so desperately wanted to give this little place a glowing review. The lady who provided my service had a warm smile. But unfortunately I didn't get the service I requested and I have a lot of concerns on cleanliness.
Excellent service. The staff is friendly, gentle, and kind. I would go back in a heartbeat. My nails look great and it didn't take all day like at other places.
