Literally heart broken over my haircut. I'm a model full time so my appearance is really important for my business. I asked for face framing pieces at chin length, not only are the shortened face framing pieces huge chunks of hair but they're also so much shorter than what I asked for. I brought so many reference photos, and I hadn't had my hair cut in 5 years because I had what I thought was an irrational fear of a horrible cut. Now I wish I hadn't done it. It was $250 with the tip, but the money isn't the issue, it's that it will take a year for my hair to grow back from being so short because my hair grows slow. It looks so choppy, clunky, & bad. I never write review but I feel obligated to warn people. 2 stars because Robyn was so nice so I felt bad telling her how disappointed I was, so I just left unhappy. I put a picture of my hair before & clips of the videos I sent her after describing why I was so unhappy.

I went into get my hair dyed with Nelly last well as I was tired of fashion color hair (ginger and blonde) and had already very grown out roots. Nelly was so sweet and responsive when it came to answering questions about my curls and even gave me recommendations on my hair and got me exactly to how dark I wanted ! 11/10 would recommend Nelly super personable and knowledgeable

I have relatively fine 2b hair. Never thought about getting a hair specific to curly hair especially because I thought my hair was fairly uncomplicated. But one day I walked out of a haircut and just felt bad. I usually don't let hairstylists layer my hair because it won't dry uniformly, but it happened and my hair layers were all over the place. I saw some posts on social media about curly hair haircuts that were essentially about getting your haircut while dry. I looked up a variety of different salons (admittedly through the devacurl website hahah) and some of the prices were astronomical. But I finally got to Robyn's name on their list and was satisfied by what I saw so I made an appointment. Robyn was phenomenal. Apologies to anyone looking for a bigger transformation picture, but what I hope the (goofy) pictures I've attached show that even months after, my hair is growing out well. Essentially, she takes a look at your hair, asks questions about what you want, and then she'll start cutting your hair. Once that's done, then you get a wash and some styling; she made some additional cuts around this time too just as finishing touches. Honestly I have her minimal instructions and I love how it turned out and love that she cut my hair in a way where I'm meant to grow it out. The way she structured my hair cut was so that I could grow out my hair without losing volume as it gets longer. She took her time to carefully go through each layer and use my hair to frame my face. She's very personable and talented. I'm definitely going back the next time I need a haircut!

Walked in for a hair cut no appt because it was walking distance. Professional and clean place. Nelly the hairstylist also has her Barber license. Great low fade haircut I got and she educated me how to style my hair. Price was fair in the west side. Will comeback
