SmartStyle Hair Salon in Rexburg, ID

I LOVE my hairstylist, Pantera at the Smart Style in Walmart!  She is the best!  She is friendly and professional.  She listens to me and does everything she can to help me feel comfortable and well-taken care of.  She did the most gorgeous highlight work on my daughter's long, curly hair and gave my six year old granddaughter the cutest hair cut before school.  She also got my four year old grandson ready for the first day of preschool.  I recommend her services to anyone.

My husband went in to get his hair cut. Pantera was the one who cut his hair and I must say it was the worse experience!!! First my husband has a cowlick and I know it can be challenging to make it look good.  When she cut his hair I noticed that she was brushing all to the side, like really verticle!!! I told her that he would not like that as he likes his hair to be combed straight down.  She then stated that the only way it would be that way is if she shaved the back of his head....I said that would be a good idea and my husband agreed! So she shaved the back of his head and proceeded to cut the top of his hair, which I have to say that when it was wet you couldn't see the mistake she made!!! We paid for the haircut and left a tip!  But within about 5 minutes when my husband was putting his sweatshirt back on and the hair dried a little more we noticed that a BIG clump was missing from his hair!!! So we went back to her and told her that it wasn't going to work and that she needed to fix/shave the top of his head.  She said if she did that they would have to charge us AGAIN since we left and was okay with the haircut.  I found this very unprofessional and was NOT going to pay AGAIN for something that SHE messed up on!  We should be refunded the money we already paid!!! I am including pictures of his haircut!!!
Also, we left a review on google and so did my daughter....the owner reached out to my daughter and basically told her that she was not there to know what really happened and that we were basically lying!  I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE WHO VALUES THEIR HAIR!!!!!

My parents went in ( Not me) I only know the basics, but my step dad got a hair cut. Everything seemed fine so they walked out thanked the stylist (Pantera) my mom noticed his hair was sticking up, so they walked back in the salon about 5 minutes later and asked if they could fix it ( basically shave down). They were told they would have to pay for a second hair cut. I reviewed on google and no apology, just basically called my mom and step dad a liar. The owner said my mom was told about the cowlick, she may have been. However my mom is deaf and reads lips, she doesn't really pay attention to be honest. The owner also pointed out that I was not there. I would like to point out that she was not either. I cannot view my mothers review on google which has pictures as well. I will admit, my mom cussed and so did I and I would do it again. To sit here and be called liars over a hair cut when it could have simply been fixed seems very personal. Pantera is actually one of the first people my daughters and I talked to when we moved to Rexburg, We didn't know her personally but she seemed very nice, but I guess not when you're her customer. I get everyone has a bad day, but straight rude with no accountability at all has consequences. What a twisted way our world is turning. Have the success you deserve.

My little brother and dad got their hair done by the manager. She didn't do what they asked her to do and was extremely rude to my 8 year-old brother who was translating for my parents who don't speak English ( she was annoyed by this) They gotta go to another place to fix the mess she did. WOULD'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.!!!!!!!!!
