SmartStyle Hair Salon in Myrtle Beach, SC

How do you have one stylist scheduled for a busy weekend and then they were rude on top of that. Located inside of a shopping center but only takes appointments. There should be a sign up that states that!!! I am from out of town and needed a haircut; signed in before 1pm and got told to come back at 4pm and there was literally one person in front of me!!!! Ridiculous!!

my stylist was shayla. she was very kind and friendly. i don't remember the manager's name but she was the same...very kind and friendly. i wasn't happy with my hair and the manager ask me to come back the next day and they would do everything possible to make it right. i went back and they kept their word. they made it right. i love the streaks but it's just not exactly what i was looking for. i would go back though.

My husband and I have had haircuts there since we moved in Myrtle Beach in 2008 and were always satisfied with the results.
This morning we had to wait until someone cane to open the door about 45 minutes late. The girl who opened up was Brittany and she looked angry as hell.
My husband got his haircut first and I must say that even though you could feel the anger in the air, she did a good job.
I was hesitant to have mine too because she looked so angry. When she asked if I wanted a haircut too, I decided to go for it. While she was taking care of me I questioned her a bit and learned  that she is the only person left working there Mon thru Saturday and Amanda is the only one on Sunday.
Nobody else!
Something must have happened to empty the crew like that. I tried to get Brittany to tell me what happened but she did not give out too much information, other than " people don't want to work ".
All in all she did good and we gave her a $10 tip because we felt bad for her. Hopefully things will improve. Something is definitely going on that employees quit like that

Shantay is back!!! Her presence makes a world of difference. Since her return, my husband and I have gone twice for our regular haircuts. We will return again!!!

DO NOT GO HERE THINKING ITS PROFESSIONAL. It's not! Girl kept wetting my hair and fluffing it up to cover up the GAP she had in the back of it. I have had a bob cut for years and EVERY place I've been to get a cut knew EXACTLY how to do it, not the case here. I went home with a wet head and was trying to fix my hair and actually had to go back to the salon to get her to fix what she had done. And she had the nerve to be mouthy to me because SHE messed up my hair! I'm a paying customer and it's not MY fault she was there alone! Brittany was the name

I Have been going to this particular location for quite sometime. I just wanted a quick trim on Friday at 9 AM and was told no openings until 2 or 3 by the manager. I get it it's Friday. Went back today only on person working there who couldn't assist me and another waiting. I walked.
