I went to this location because they had openings quickly and I was very desperate. It was when the salons began to open during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have to say I was skeptical. Marina did a wonderful job. Don't go to an expensive place to get your haircut. You don't need to do that. They did just as good of a job. I have naturally curly long hair and it is difficult to cut. She did a blow out and it looked perfect. I highly recommend.
Get what you pay for. Recently got my hair cut and colored here. I was going for a longer styled pixie cut. I explained my hair was curly and would shrink about 2 inches and was looking for a more wash and go style as I did NOT want to straighten my hair. I understand not everyone is experienced with ethnic hair but you would have thought after the warning she would error on the side of longer. She cut the style while my hair was wet, then continued cutting after it was blown out straight...Needless to say the whole cut is around 2+ inches too short which looks ridiculous around the bangs and front of the head. I have to style it now for it to look even remotely ok. I also wasn't a fan of the texturing cream they pushed on me. Yeah they didn't even ask before just bringing it to the font counter and scanning it. I literally only asked for a conditioner... Overall, not the worse experience because I do think the ladies are nice, but now I'm stuck with a super short hair. Not a great place for curly haired people.

I've been twice. The first time, I literally had one of the best haircuts in a long time and knew I would definitely be back! I went for the 2nd time tonight and arrived at 7:30pm. The one girl was busy with a female customer, so opted to just sit down on the single bench outside of the salon aka "the waiting area." After 30 minutes I walked up and asked her if I could still get a haircut, since they close at 8pm. She said they can't take customers after 8pm and I never signed into the computer, so I should come back tomorrow. How I was supposed to know when there was noone else working there or any sign instructing customers to sign in whatsoever.
I have had a great experience every time I go to Smartstyle at Walmart in Leicester. Love the stylist named Lisa. The place is always clean, and the staff is always friendly. My husband and I go together, then we go shopping.
