SmartStyle Hair Salon in Geneva, NY

I came in for a scheduled hair cut today only to have problems start right away. The girl I was given to was unprofessional and disorganized. She couldn't find her tools at her station and after I told her I only wanted a trim wouldn't even talk with me. She sprayed only the ends of my hair NOT WETTING IT THROUGH then proceeded to chop it apart. I asked for two inches off, one length. It is ALL lengths with the top coat two inches shorter then the bottom! She didn't even cut the front third, it's the same length as when I went in. When she "finished" she asked me if liked how it looked but she didn't turn me around or use a second mirror. I told her I couldn't see it and she just walked away. The entire cut is also slanted to the right. She couldn't even cut a straight line. I have to make second trip to have the mess fixed.

Rude... called to cancel and some "woman" hung up on me after I thanked them. Previously had my hair butchered and three lady's ended up cutting it at once due to the "stylist" mistake. Charged me full price after. Place is a joke I'll never return.

Was having my daughters hair touched up for the prom. One of the stylist completely ruined it. She blamed it on the manager who highlighted it before her. She trashed her manager the whole time. She offered to send us home with toner so I could fix it before prom. I was charged $130 for it. We had to go to another salon who squeezed us in after letting them know her prom was that day. Never would I go there again. Very unprofessional!!!

When I need a quick haircut for my 3 year old daughter this is my go to spot. Angel is wonderful with my girl and so quick and pleasant. She even did a sweet braid today. The salon is clean and staffed well and rarely has a wait- I still call ahead to check just in case. It's conveniently located inside Walmart. I highly recommend for kids cuts.

My husband desperately needed a haircut before he returned to work and this was the only place in town that seemed to be opened past 1PM on a Saturday. There was a big ol' sign advertising a $16.50 deal for haircut, wash, conditioner and head massage. Needless to say, my husband did not receive any of those and were initially charged the full $16.50. I luckily found a deal on yelp and his haircut was reduced to $9.99 instead. Still, he should have gotten the full treatment for $9.99. The lady with the short purple hair was his hairstylist. Though she said she was just subbing for somebody that day, she was unfriendly and refused to accept the yelp offer initially. So I guess come here if you're really desperate for a military haircut like your ass was on the line if you return to work with long hair. Other than that, I'd skip it.
