I used to goto this salon for cuts and color until I moved home. I have not found a single stylist or colorist that has been able to give me the exact look I am searching for at such a fair price as they did at Shear Designs.
I have been going here for a haircut for as long as I can remember. Never disappointed, always get a great haircut. Good staff who have been there for a long time.
The overall salon is a great place, one that I've enjoyed going to in the past. But do not ever use Jeanne (pronounced "genie"). I went in with four photographs showing what style I wanted and talked to her about the different elements I liked before she started. She did the trimming I requested but only did a very simple, blunt cut of my bangs. They are too short, not styled at all like the photographs I showed her, and when I asked about the layers I wanted to frame my face, she simply said "Oh, they're already there" (so she didn't even bother to do any cutting or trimming there). It was a waste of my money to what looks like a $5 cut that I could have done at home. She did not even bother to listen when I wanted more done and was dismissive of my requests. If you do go to Shear Designs Salon, DO NOT USE JEANNE.
