This review is long overdue, but I couldn't resist sharing my experience at Selfish Spa. Let me start by saying that I absolutely love it here! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the ambiance of the spa is everything you could hope for in a relaxing retreat. The overall setup of Selfish Spa is impressive. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a sense of tranquility and elegance. However, there is one area that stands out above the rest for me, and that is the pedicure area. It's beautifully designed and exudes a sense of luxury. Now, while my experience at Selfish Spa has been mostly positive, I must address one issue that led me to deduct a star from my rating. The quality of the nail polish used during my visits was a bit disappointing. On a few occasions, I noticed that the polish chipped within a day or two, which was quite frustrating. I believe that for a spa of this caliber, the nail polish should have a longer-lasting formula. Despite this minor setback, I would still highly recommend Selfish Spa. The exceptional service, friendly staff, and exquisite ambiance make it a hidden gem worth visiting. I'm confident that with a little improvement in the nail polish department, this spa would be absolutely perfect.

I've been through a few nail techs here since their opening in 2020 but each young lady has been amazing. My current nail artist, Alex, is an entire vibe. I've been seeing her exclusively all year and she never ever disappoints. I give her a color or theme, and I allow her freedom to do whatever she wants because she's an artist! I get compliments every time I get a new set. The staff is generally friendly and welcoming. Sometimes there are customers who are loud (rare) so it would be nice to see them get checked (maybe a policy to limit use of personal devices while being service would help?) because one person can throw the entire vibe off. Otherwise, I love it here. I'm going to be adding more of their spa services in 2024 (facials, brows). Black owned and killing it!

I love it here. My guy Tony is consistent and very personable. Morgan is also amazing. the place is pretty and most importantly it's CLEAN! I've made it a point to support BOBs and this is a great place to do just that. there's no waiting around, no nasty attitudes, and the customer service is where it should be. this is just my opinion but you're not going to get a complimentary beverage, with a smile, from the other shops and y'all know what shops I'm talking about. Scheduling is easy on their website. Payment is easy. Location is easy (sort of behind Ruth Chris).

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to share my experience. I was so looking forward to trying this spa! My nails were crooked even after mentioning it to my manicurist several times. The massage had to be the shortest I've ever had, and I supposedly got a CBD pedicure. The customer service was subpar. She literally walked away as soon as she polished my toes and didn't say thanks nor have a nice day. Nothing close to a luxury experience!

I really want to love this place and come often but my natural nails say otherwise. The décor, vibe, and beauty options are awesome. The staff are always nice and personable. I've visited three times from Spring 2022 to July 2022. My first visit I tried the Aprés nail extensions for the first time which I liked, my tech wasn't as friendly but I liked my nails. Along with a pedi that I enjoyed just disappointed the polish didn't last two weeks. I returned to soak off the nail extensions and got a regular gel mani. My nails started to chip a week later. Fast forward to my most recent visit in July. I got a extension soak off (they did not apply extensions), gel mani, and pedi. Less than a week later the gel is chipping on my nails. 10 days after my service the polish has begun to chip on my toes along with gel still chipping off my nails and breakage. I'm not hard on my nails at all so I'm perplexed at the chipping. This is the second time I've paid $50 for a pedi that the polish doesn't last two weeks. I'm disappointed. Because I mainly wear my natural nails I don't think I'll return. I don't feel as though I'm getting my monies worth when I get my natural nails done here.
